OMFG! This book was amazing, everything you ever wanted to know about the Alpha Legion was exposed, including it's primarch. Twins! Who would have guessed that there could be twin primarchs! Anyway, just wanted a place to explode in excitement. If anyone else has read the book, drop a post about how suprised you were.

The book was pretty over hyped in my opinion, yes the twins bit was a nice plot bomb, but like most of Dan's books, they are a nice read, but always praised and over hyped to the point of "meh, is that all?"
Plus it leaves more questions than it answers. If they are twins, then who dies at the end of the Heresy and who survives to lead the legion from that point onwards? And what made them, a fiercely loyal legion to begin with, fall away from the Emperor? Those aliens said he had to join Horus, but the real reasoning is never really given. Oh yes, Horus becomes emo and kills all of humanity because he's a sad panda.

[ΛΩ]I always figured the Alpha Legion is just pretending to be traitors and secretly still work for the Imperium. They're plot-happy enough to pull that off. [ΨΣ]
