So I found out today that their is a movie being made that is based on the DOOM video game, and it will star dwayne johnson (the rock).
Why dose the movie industry think they need to destroy video games, and alienate the gamers who love the game? When was the last time that hollywood made a movie that was true to the game that the movie was based off of? Never, that's when!
The movie industry thinks that they can cram somewhere around 20+ hours of stroy into an hour and a half long movie, and it really never works. DOOM of all games has always been associated with a faceless soldier, now he will talk and have a face.
And DOOM is basicly about a gory, firey hell, and I'm sure that they will not create a good rendition of that aspest of the game.
I swear if ever so much as hear about a legend of zelda movie, I will tear my own head off and kick it to the moon!

well here's to hoping they can make a good one...and i liked the resident evil movies well really just the first one and the mario's brother's was corny as s**t but i still liked it to some degree and the animated street fighter II movie not hollywood but still damn good and ff7 advent children looking like it's shaping up to be pretty good and had better damn well be too or there will be some pissed off people on their hands and i'll be one of em evil

Well personal I think he Rock will do fine as the "Marine" (does anyone know the charther name?!) Well anyway I heard from PS2 Mag they are planning to film a DMC movie, and a Hitman with that guy from XXX. Peronsal I can not wait from DMC movie that will be so cool, I think it be a mix of Hellboy with Van Helsing! It getting cast now and will be filmed next year!
(Oh has anyone seen a trailer for the new Superman movie?)

not much longer before it comes out now....i caught like the last five seconds of the preview so i couldn't really tell much bout it....neone out there seen preview of it and if so whatcha think it's gonna be like?

The part i find puzzling is how the hell did they decide that a BFG would blow a hole in the wall? And how can it be fired in such close proximity to people without causing harm to them?
It absolutely goes aginst every bit of doom lore there is.
I probably wont even go see it, it will just upset me.

I remember playing Doom when I had the flu--I borrowed a cheatbook from the library I think, and probably spread it on to some unsuspecting youth.
