Hello Zeris fans, I've got to ask: What are your thoughts on Tseng? Here's something to spark your interest. Quote: Constantly hovering and surveilling Aerith is the figure of Tseng. Is a love triangle surrounding Aerith developing? What do you think his feelings are, and what do you think hers are towards him? Do you like shipping these two together? Or do you prefer to solely ship Aeris with Zack? What do you think of him as a character on his own? Since this pairing isn't threatening at all towards our Zeris canon, I thought it would be interesting to see how the guild felt. Tseng has always been a favorite of mine. There's just something about the way he "died" in FFVII that brought me to tears. As I've said in the thread before, I initially thought for some reason that he was meant to be Aeris' love interest. When she got upset in the game so did I. Though I didn't approve of him magically being alive in AC, it was made even worse by how little he was in it. Dx Maybe some of you can post some Tseng from CC stuff to make me and my life void of CC, happy. XP And yes, this thread is my little TsengxAeris shipping place since the pairing isn't popular enough for an entire guild. XP

I never thought much of Tseng...I didn't hate him or like him, haha. At first I thought that he was a total jerk but when he sat dying, I felt really bad for him, especially when Aeris cried for him.
When it comes to the coupling, I think they look nice together. biggrin I became fond of this couple after this doujinshi illustrated his feelings for her throughout the whole FFVII story. Tseng obviously has feelings for the flower girl but he knows that they could never be. All he could do is watch over her. (Though in FFVII he was a tad bit cold.) Aeris appears to be very indifferent to his feelings but you can tell that she cares, cares enough to shed tears for him.
About his character, he's very dutiful and won't hesitate to carry out an order but at the same time he is loyal to those he cares about, especially Aeris in how *CC spoiler* he wanted to find Zack and keep him alive to give him Aeris' 88 letters. He's content in taking the back seat even though it hurts him.

Tseng is just awesome. And unlike some, I actually thought he didn't die in FFVII, but was extremely wounded and hospitalized. >.>

rofl That didn't make sense when you compare it to CC, but I think they wanted to let on that Tseng grew colder over time, OR that they wanted to show that Tseng really isn't as cruel as they made him appear.
I really adore TsengXAeris... Almost as much as ZackXAeris, actually. rofl I also like TsengXElena too, though. One of my favorite TsengXAeris quotes is when Aeris is crying over Tseng.
Cloud: Are you... crying?
Aeris: Tseng has known me my whole life... there's not many people I can say that about...
It's like Aeris has grown a strong connection with him because he's always been with her, protecting and watching over her. Sure he asked her strange questions and his job first assigned him to it, but it's clear Tseng does in fact, have a certain 'feeling' for Aeris. ;D Zack and Tseng were friends, though. . . and Zack trusted Tseng with Aeris so it's all cool. cool

Thanks to Reno, we have a firm suspicion that Tseng likes Aeris. When Tseng and Rude are talking about who likes how in front of Gongaga, he says that Tseng likes Aeris.
At least.. he does if I'm remembering right.
But I thought this was cute, even though I only like Aeris in CC. Even though I don't like her in FFVII etc, she goes good with Tseng. :3
