So, I just thought it would be fun to start some sayings that involve "You know you're a band nerd when.." and just see where it goes:
You know you're a band nerd when..
- you create a forum that says, "You know you're a band nerd when.."
- you know how to "comfortably" fall asleep on a music stand.
- you can stand at attention for 90 minutes (thank you band camp..) and only have a little bit of discomfort.
- you start planning next year's band camp skit night on your geometry notes.
- you know people ONLY by the instrument they play.
For example:
Guy #1: Do you know who Timmy is?
Guy #2: Is he in band?
Guy #1: Yeah, he is.
Guy #2: Trombone player?
Guy #1: Yeah, I think so..
Guy #2: Yeah, I know him.
- you can look at a child and you can tell what instrument they'll be playing once they start middle school.
- you still have tan lines from band camp in the winter.
