Okay so I just came back from dayton, ohio for the wgi world championships. It was so much fun spending time with my guard! We got to practice is some cool places like an indoor soccer field, a BARN (that was too small to fit the tarp), and a college gym(all the boys were watching uus~ 4laugh ).
Now not only did we go to Finals but we got 3RD in Scholastic Open Class! We got awesome wgi medals and the trophy is AWESOME!!! I honestly had no idea of how we would do because this is our first year in Open Class, but wow have we come a far way. And because we got 3rd in the world, we might be promoted to WORLD CLASS!! mrgreen
Anywho, did anyone go to world championships this year and what did you get in?

Riverside, but our program used to be Rubidoux's Delta Alliance Corps, but the instructors, band directer, and most of the students went to Patriot.

Sad to say, I didn't get to go. But one of my best friends is in Ars Nova open and they took 11th at finals. I was so jealous but he called me at every event to tell me what happened. Hopefully, I'll be on it next year and it won't matter. That or Black Gold.

WGI is AMAZING =] i loved it there, even though my team didn't do well at all (we didn't even make it to semi-finals); oh, and btw, we're in the Scholastic A division. but it's the experiance that really matters. and i must say, i wish i could go again, but i probably won't be able to T.T i'd have to say my favorite performances were: - i don't know which school it was, but it was the show called 'Suspense' (?) and they had these awesome swing thingies that people were climbign up and hanging on. it was pretty cool - an ind. world class show with the green outfits and the magic box that at the end the guy went in and a girl came out; that was cool - ind. open (i think) show which i think was tribal themed and they had the kangaroo head (?) on a stick xPPPP - and of course Aimachi!!! i freakn' LOVED their show. that one guy was like WOAH with the baton! haha
