Anime Iowa is 2 weekends after Kakkoi!con.
I know everyone is looking forward to Kakkoi!con.
I am wondering if there is any interest for me to set up a room block for Anime Iowa, and make arrangements for it, or if Kakkoi!@con is going to tap people out.

Now when you say tap people out, do you mean to say that the building is going to take everyone it doesnt like, and it will smash them? because that would be kinda cool. A gazebo type of thing if you know what I mean.

Well, that could be interesting. I can just see the hotel automatically opening the windows, tilting to the side and tapping with it's attena's to get people to fall out the rooms.......
But know, I am curious how many people think they will have the time, energy and monetary funds to go to 2 conventions so close together.
Since everyone is recovering from Detour, I thought it would be a good time to check.

I think Anime Iowa is going to lose a lot of people because Kakkoi!con is so close to their convention date.
I REALLY want to go to Anime Iowa this year but I don't have funds to go to Kakkoi!con this year let alone Anime Iowa. I wish there were some way to go but it happens sometimes sad

I know, having conventions close together like this really hurts the funds.
Kakkoi!con is going to be really fun, and it is here. I highly recommend going to it, if you can.
Anime Iowa is always great, but it costs a lot more to go to.

Hi, this is Jonesey. I am very interested in getting a room and ride to Anime Iowa with you guys =). I am willing to help pay for gas and room of course; I am also someone who doesn't take up much room in a room ^.^
