((Righties, 4and20 gave Light permission to start up this RP and everything but Light told me she’s no good at it and I’ve ended up doing it sweatdrop If it’s crap you can all complain and throw stuff at me o.o *hides under table* if nickfellows wanted to do this then I’ll delete what I put and quote whatever he says :3 ))

Endless Horizon

The year is 1784 in the small world of Sylvana. Despite how calm everything is, there are still disputes between governments, primarily the Monarchy and the Communists. There is fighting at the borders and civil wars raging inside the different states and counties, making it a perfect era to be a Sky Pirate. The Pirates know this won’t last forever – there are already several peace conferences set to be held – and so the two leading pirate crews in the world get involved to keep up the fighting for personal gain. However, there is also conflict between the two crews as both aim to backstab the governments for money and power, and neither crew will back down.

The Crews

The Bellatrix
Captainess: Zephyra//Light is my Shadow
Quatermistress (second in command): Klara Stasiuk//Nemos Star

Rigs and Sails: Doris//Nona

The Black Tyrant
Captain: Gossamer Void//4and20

Boatswain: Julian Gaius//Dead Eddie
Sailing Master: Izekel Cojack//Divine Will
Surgeon: Azur Hawk//Raid
Master Gunner- Azur Hawk//Raid

(( stare you could at least sort out your thread… I just spent ages going through to get character names and positions))

Rules

Ok, so we should all know the rules by now so I’m not going to repeat them (they’re in the SC and WFD threads for anyone who doesn’t know them). Anyone who doesn’t follow them will get a warning the first time, followed by a ban from the RP if they’re broken again. Maybe a slap if I’m feeling mean on that day O:<

A majestic, creatively designed airship glides through the air during the sunrise of an average day on an Earth-like area. The wind gently caresses the faces of the crew members as their captain watches over them on the highest deck during the voyage. A large shadow was casted in her militaristic stance as the air gently blows her hair towards the east. Her eyes dart slightly as they change from view to view. Zephyra's ears are filled with the noises of ropes being pulled and mumbling of others, either taking off their 'shift' or getting up from their sleeping areas to start their duties. She notices something that called for her attention, so she got out of statue-like stance and quickly climbed down and went towards her quarter.

Gossamer Void strode somewhat staggeringly across the deck of his ship, The Black Tyrant. He was rubbing the sleep from his only recently closed eyes, and stumbling into the rigging repeatedly. One of his crew asked him a question and he replied fuzzily, "Whazzatnotthustime...I uh...I believe the phrase you are searching for is sassaphrass mizz cottonseed, well I--Why's it so bloody bright in the morning?" And then he stumbled on, leaving the bewildered crewman to decipher that cryptic response. Finally arriving at the wash bucket, he leaned over it unsteadily, then shoved his face beneath the surface. He stayed there for an inordinate amount of time, so long one might think he was trying to drown himself. But this is how he woke up, and this is where he got most of his best thinking done. Finally, he lifted his head out, splashing his hair backwards and gasping. Shaking off the excess water he straightened himself, becoming the serious and edgy captain that his men were accustomed to. He made his way to the helm, and looked over his glorious ship, modified to perfection. A faint smile crossed his keen visage as he remembered how he had acquired it. Some people were just TOO easy to outwit. The proverbial "unarmed" in a battle of wits. His eyes were extremely sharp, and glittered with cleverness and schemeing in the early morning sunrise. For a moment however, he closed them, inhaling deeply and reveling in the freedom of the skies... He walked over to the wheel, addressing his Sailing Master, Izekel Cojack. "How was the night? Calm? And what about the...the OTHER thing. Any word?" He talked somewhat softly, in an engaging sort of way, as he usually did when he was talking plans with his more trusted crewmen. The wind whistled through the rigging and the birds cawed and screeched beneath the hull of the ship like so many winged fish. The glory and rebirth of the morning permeated the air, and filled the world with it's wonder.

((divine-I honestly don't know what he's talking about, i figured it was a good conversation starter, so you can just go with it and completely make up whatever you want "the OTHER" thing to be. xp ))

((don't worry I thing I have something that we could use for the OTHER thing twisted ))

"Its a few hours away at best, they say the prince himself is on-board, that means guards" Cojack replied in a regally but tried voice "but as for the weather. . . it may have been calm, but there's been a dead feel to the air, it's making the crew nervous" he saw the faces of the men around him, this conversation wasn't helping moral, Cojack decided to change their tone "Though it could just be my mind playing tricks on me, unlike you I haven't been allowed sleep for the past eight hours" He said with a sarcastic smirk.

Decane the Magical Bard

Poor Doris was in bad shape that morning. After rigging the sails and staying up all night to make sure the machinery was working properly and cleaning and whatnot, she was tired out. So much that she seriously slept in late that morning, completely forgetting her duties as boatswain--reporting to Captainess Zephyra.
"Ugh..." Doris muttered groggily, then pulled the covers back over her head as the sunlight in the window blinded her, "The sun... It burns..."
She paused.
"SUN!?" she exclaimed as she sat straight up out of bed, got dressed, and ran outside. It was morning, and she was in deep delay.
Quickly, she ran all over their ship, checking how the other mates were doing and how everything was going. She went to her partner machanic, Sherry, who was working on cleaning the engine.
"How's it going, Sherry?" Doris panted.
"...Well, there's some--" Sherry began, but Doris cut her off.
"Ok! Looks great! Bye!" she exclaimed, and soon she was out of sight again. Doris accomplished to do the same all over the rest of the ship at every other station until she was sure that everything was ok (ok meaning not falling apart or totally destroyed). All that was left was to see Zephyra.
Running as fast as her little feet could carry her, Doris headed up to see her captainess and made a mock salute to her tiredly.
"The ship's lookin' good, ma'am...!" she panted, then with a final gasp of air, she fell backwards in a coat of sweat to the planks of the ship, exhausted.

Zephyra raised her eyebrow because of the strangeness of her boatswain. "I already knew that everything was fine. I had someone else do your job," she replied sternly and emphasized the word 'else'. "You're lucky I won't demote you for not doing your duty, Miss Doris," she added nonchalantly. Zephyra lightly kicked the back of her foot to get her up. "Drink some rum; that'll get you up. Now go back to work," she commanded as she went into her quarter. She put on a sign on her door that said 'Knock if important'.

Klara slowly wandered out onto the deck from where she had been stood. She had seen what had happened between Doris and Zephyra but had been reluctant to step in to stop them as she didn't want to offend Zephyra in any way. The two of them had formed the crew together, though Klara knew that Zephyra could easily demote her or even kick her out the crew. Klara knelt down next to Doris, holding her hand out to help her up. Without saying anything she led Doris back to the ship's equivalent of a hospital bay. Or something smaller than a hospital bay. The room had four beds shoved to one side and a cabinet on the wall filled with all sorts of medicines. Klara reached up for one of these bottles, choosing a small green one with what looked like tea-leaves in it. She mixed some of these into a glass of water and handed it to Doris.
"This should help wake you up," she told her, "and try to avoid the captainess for a while - if anything else happens then I don't know what will happen to you."

Doris sighed when Klara led her into the hospital bay.
"Aye... Thank you, Klara..." she muttered, "Tough job though... Spent so much time with the engine that I couldn't get any sleep..."

After finishing his last statement regarding minds playing tricks on him and whatnot, Gossamer scrunched his face up into an expression that clearly said "What the devil are you talking about?" After a short moment of maintaining this look, he shook his head dismissively. "Never mind that, if you want sleep so bad you can have all you want, so long as it's out there." He said, pointing out over the edge of the ship into the thin air. A wicked grin slid across his face for a brief moment. "'With the fishes' is the expression I believe." He didn't wait for a response, but rather just kept talking. "And the guards won't be a problem." He said loudly, showing Cojack that he didn't give a fig for who overheard them at this point. "I'll think of something. I always do." He started to wander off back to the lower deck, but turned back. "Oh, and one more thing. Go to your bunk and get some sleep!" He looked Cojack up and down with a slight look of distaste, "You look bloody awful, what were you thinking staying up so late?" And with that, Captain Void went about his business, whatever that was. Not many people knew what went on inside his head. Only that it was alot, and that not all of it made sense.

"Well try not to let it get in the way," Klara replied, "If you work on the engine too much you won't be able to do as good a job on anything else." Klara turned and walked out of the hospital room, leaving the keys in the door for Doris to lock the room when she left. She walked back up towards the deck, pausing outside Zephyra's quarters. There was something different about Zephyra which was starting to worry her. As second in command and surgeon it was her job to make sure everyone in the crew was healthy but she wasn't sure if Zephyra was actually ill. She hesitated for a moment before knocking on the door and waiting for her to answer.

Zephyra glances at the door for a slight moment and turns back to what she was writing in at her desk. After she finished her sentence, she slid open a cover that hides a small button. She pressed the button underneath the desk to open a secret compartment, that is just large enough to hide her notebook in. After she finished putting everything away, she finally said, "Come in, it's unlocked."

Klara pushed the door open and walked into the room. It was similar to hers, only slightly bigger. She closed the door behind her and leant backwards against it. She hadn't really thought about what she was going to say so she stood there for a few moments before approaching Zephyra.
"Zephyra, is everything ok?" she asked, hoping it wouldn't offend the captain in anyway. She reached her arm out and pulled a chair over to the desk, the back facing Zephyra. She sat down, resting both arms on the top bar of the back.
"You just seem different," she continued.

Zephyra hesitated silently for a quick moment before she said anything. "I don't see how," she commented as she turned around in her chair and pulled up the nicest bottle of rum on the ship and carefully pulled out a glass. She opened up the bottle and slowly poured some of the contents in the container. Before she even put down the bottle, Zephyra gulped down the entire glass and slammed both the bottle and glass in satisfaction with taste and quickly closed the bottle. "The only thing I can say however, is that I have a feeling we're going to run into something...I just know it," she added.

Klara's eyes flicked between the rum and Zephyra, making her wonder how drunk the captain actually was. Her last comment had just been weird and was actually sort of freaky. She decided not to say anything about it and stood up, taking the chair back to where she'd got it from. Pausing at the door, she turned to Zephyra again.
"Ok, well if you need anything then just ask," she said, pulling the door closed beihind her. Above her she could hear the rest of the crew - the lack of authority meant they'd probably stopped working. Klara ran up the stairs quicker than usual and began to set everyone back on task.

Cojack gave a smug salute, as soon as The captain gave the order for sleep, "thank heavens" he thought to himself, the last time he had fallen asleep at the wheel, Void had thrown him overboard . . . again, well at least it had been over water instead of land that time, and he knew guards were never a problem with Void, they never were, but nether of them wanted to say the real cause of the crew's unrest, they were about to enter the territory of a pirate said to be a fearsome as Void himself, and what made it worst was the fact it was a woman, women on the sea were bad news. And the Tyrant's target was bound to attract them.
