Because of the intense amount of stupid that has accumulated in this forum lets set up some ground rules, shall we?

1. No Godmoding. Don't know what Godmoding is? Click here.

2. Do NOT create a Mary Sue character. Don't know what a Mary Sue is? Click here. Want to know if your character is a Mary Sue? Click here.

3. OOC (Out Of Character) chat is just fine, but keep it related to the RP and put it in brackets like this: [Hey, so, what exactly did you just do?]

4. Breaking the fourth wall is awesome, but try to keep it to a minimum, maybe one character per RP?

5. Don't do s**t like this "l0l x rated avatar rp har!" go somewhere else for that. Basically, don't do anything that will get the guild B&.

6. If you have an awesome idea for an RP, but it isn't related to Avatar, go ahead and post it. Your RP doesn't have to be related.

7. If you're making threads set in a future timeline, your character cannot be descendants of characters in the Avatar universe. I.E. your character cannot be the grandson of Zuko and Momo. Got a problem with that? GTFO.

8. When you're making RPs set in the current timeline, using premade characters from the show make sure you have your characters be like they are in the show. You can't have Katara and Zuzu all happy and lovey dovey, or you can't make Toph 6' tall and really nice to Sokka. Keep the characters in character as how they are on the show.

9. Do not type actions in asterisks, no *doing this lol* it makes the RP unruly and retarded

10. While writing with u and r in substitution of the words "you" and "are" makes things easier for you, please try to keep punctuality, you may still do this but try to spell things correct 50% + of the time.

Yes. You cannot RP canon characters.
Be creative and make your own.
