This is just a small poem I wrote in a matter of secondes after being inspired during a game of cribbage. mrgreen Hope to get some feedback! 3nodding
I peer through my fingers, up at the stained glass Where you dance, smiling from the window, Sliding along the sill, the floor, the teak table, Breathing warmth into my forearms, saying, "I'm coming. Will you wait for me?"

i often like small and direct poems, large ones just get redundant after a wile (also because i have a very short attention span)

Not so strong with poems as I am with stories. I leave that to others but I did find the theme and the simplicity of the poem an easy and nice read.

Inspriration during cribbage, that's one I haven't heard. Cool Poem! I like how it's short and simple with a direct, yet somewhat mystifying message.
