Most will probably pick Ryuk, but I like Remu much more because she is caring and loyal. Not to mention smart. Even though she sacrificed herself for Misa.

definatly er sacrificing herself for misa misa was the most thoughtful helpful and kindest thing u can do and the only down side is u killed me tho

 I love them both, Ryuk would be fun to have around, but I'd choose Remu because I feel like I could trust Remu more then Ryuk.

Defenantly Ryuk, he's evil and i love it. Remu can be really protective of the people he loves (well misa) but i love Ryuk cause i love Kira, personally

I like both Remu and Ryuk.
They're both so different from each other, but that's what I like about them.
I think I might have to say I like Ryuk more.
He makes me laugh so much sometimes, he's very cool too.
I like Remu too though, don't get me wrong.
She is very sweet, careing, and trust worthy.
I just like Ryuk a little more.

rem would well be a better shinigami but ryuk is so funny when he laughs. i love the shots of ryuk in the manga that say things like HUMANS ARE A RIOT and stuff next to them lol.
i tried to get a mr racoon to look like ryuk on my profile lol but im not sure anyone noticed... rofl

hmmm... thats a hard one...
rem was alright until she sacrificed herself to that annoying blondie working with kira. but iz did like her before she did thatz AND killed L.
