Ok. I'll explain why I brought this up. See me and a couple of my friends are arguing bout what a true friend is.

A true friend is your buddy, who you hang out with and tell all the new things that are going on in your life to. When your in trouble, you call them, and when they're in trouble, they call you.

I understand that.
What's confusing me is are friends supposed to call you alot of things they wouldn't normally say to you.

I'm not quite sure I understand that post. I know that I call my best friend "Idiot" it's kind of like his nickname, but he agreed on it and also refers to himself as an idiot. And he does a lot of stupid stuff, but I also know he's a lot smarter than most people his age.

It depends on their face. If they're like frowning at you when they say it, then no. But if their like laughing and giving you high fives and stuff, then it's all okay.

it depends on whats going on no its wrong 95% of the time but you have to notice that sometimes when freinds do that they are just venting cause of pressure and having problems they dont always mean to explode exactly at you but there are some people that dont like letting people have to deal with there stress like me so they dont say when they are so basicly they dont vent letting people know they are so they just let it build up and eventully that person just explodes

I understand that but they should at least apologize too. they may vent towards their friends but they don't have to go that far then act like they didn't say that when they feel better.
That's like when one of my friends called me a whore cause they got mad and started venting at me. They never even apologized. When I asked them if I was one after they calmed down, they started laughing and thought I was joking.
Yea, you can vent but even so they should be true enough to apologize after they calm down and explain why they said that.

personally as far as I go if I ever did that its cause I honestly have a brain thingy that shuts off and restarts so when I explode and go so sleep i kindof forget about it and I have already explained that one to you but still but it may be that even that is unlikly otherwords it might be the fact that there really ashamed by it and really dont want to feel any dumer about it but things tend to happen which its another tipy subject that all depends on the type of person it is

Yeah, I agree with night_shroud15, and I would also like to say that if anyone routinely called me names like that and were serious about it, I probably wouldn't consider them my friend.

well that tends to be touchy thou sometimes cant tell if there being sereus or not but idk whatever works I tend to stick to hard with my freinds till they compleatly ******** me over and usually keep going back till I get them strait so yea tthats just the way I am
