Alright, this looks interesting. What exactly are the job descriptions for each occupation? I would consider getting one to help out around here, but I would like to know what is expected of each first if that is okay.

Well, I was looking mainly at trader, though considering RP Hopper as well, depending on what I need to do for each.

traders organize trades. someone askes for something, a trader finds out how to get it, perhaps by trading with someone else outside the guild. if someone wants to sell something a trader looks for a buyer returning the money the seller asked for.
RP hopper joins every RP seeing how they're run and monitering the RP skillz of the members. most employees are paid based on RP skills so it's an important job.
you can ask for more descriptions or start negotiating salary. i really need a secretary....

So a trader just basically finds an item for someone and buys it, then trades it to the person for the cost? Seems simple, yet easy to become a scam if you have a dishonest person doing it... Though I wouldn't mind doing so...
And what would your secretary be doing exactly?

keeping track of everyones paychecks for me mostly... other things if they think thay can handle it.

Was there a position for a Roleplay Creator? I could make numerous rp's a week. I am guessing about four on average depending on how bored I am. I may not be able to participate in them probably, but I do like to create worlds or concepts.
I may take you up on that offer to organise the player database though. I can even be an rpg hopper when I find the time. I tend to be online about 4/5 days a week of late.

Well, trader I would be up for... And for the secretary, would I have to search the entire guild for the info, or would I be given it and just have to keep it organized?

RP hopper would tell the secretary about the skills, but the secretary would have to keep track of exactly how active the members are himself.
RPT maker is a useful task... currently i'm not even halfway down the list of RPs i wanted to make in this guild.
btw, traders are paid on a weekly basis and on contingency? no that's not the word... it begins with a C... and means how many trades you make.

I am going to be playing rpg's this weekend but will give some thought as to some new roleplays. We are playing some form of D&D again but I was hoping to eventually play shadowrun at some stage. This may take a while of course as we only have an electronic version and I need to read the rulebook for details so that there would be a gm for it.
I will try to create some generic roleplays while I wait for people to add to the player database. This will ensure that we have something to do in the meantime. 3nodding I will check in every few days though. Also, I was thinking of starting a thread for helping new roleplayers to enhance their skills. I will add this either today or next week.

Well, I am willing to take on the trader job for now, though we need some rules or something about backing out of deals. My account that I will be using to obtain the items is on a quest for an OMG, and I cannot be burdened with extra items that I didn't want to buy because someone backs out, and the lack of gold that would come with it. At the moment, I am looking for your Robot suit, but I only saw the helmet. There was a workaround awhile back in Q&F, if I don't have too much to do tomorrow I will find it...
As for secretary, I could keep track of such things as paychecks, as long as I know who is getting what based on what and all that. And what do you mean by skills? Also, the word I think you were looking for was commision...
