"Awards" may not be the best way to describe it, but for shits and giggles, we've decided to do a series of just-for-fun "contests" with silly categories. The first category will be "Most Batshit Crazy Character." Reply to this thread to nominate a character or a few characters, your own or other people's. After all the nominations are in, Dee and I will add our own nominations to the list, and then create a poll for everyone to vote in. Nominations start today and close Friday May 2nd, two weeks from today. Have fun! biggrin

Oo, fun! I nominate Alika's partner in demon killing, Ian. He's crazy, but in such a subtle way that you almost don't notice it.
Here's my evidence:
"My name is Ian." He stated calmly without even the slightest twitch in facial expression. His right hand lifted into the air between them with the palm open. "Ian Gabriel."
It was just a handshake. There was nothing in his gloved palm and nothing on the tips of his bare fingers. It was just a human greeting, and one that this beast would have to step forward to accept. Ian just watched the man's face expectantly for a reaction with his brown eyes. This may have been trickery, but evil deserves no mercy.
I say he's batshit because he's able to double-think as well as anyone out of 1984. He offers a handshake to lure the demon out, which says that he thinks the demon he's facing won't rip it off, but at the same time he still believes that he's an evil murderer who deserves no mercy. Orwell would be so proud! 3nodding
That's why I nominate Ian!

I'm going to go with my first instinctive thought on this one and say Lao. Now, he's fine most of the time...it's just when he gets it in his head to pull out that little doll that he goes a bit askew. And the other part is that he's so incredibly calm when he does it...torture doesn't seem to bother him a bit. So Lao gets my vote
Example: The young man rose from his seat and stepped up to his prisoner, grabbing the man's stained chin in one gloved hand. "Now, what is the remedy for such sin, I wonder?"
"N-no... d'don't k-kill m-m-m-me... p-please..."
"Kill you?" Lao laughed that same, dangerous laugh again. "I've no intention of killing you. 'Thou shalt not kill,' says your Book, does it not? However..." and here his hand tightened against the man's left wrist. "'An eye for an eye, and'..." In one swift motion the young man in clergy clothing snapped his captive's wrist, bending it back until it sat at an almost perfect 90-degree angle with his arm. "You should lose every limb you possess," Lao hissed. "But my gods are forgiving - they wish for redemption. So," he sliced through the man's bonds, "redeem yourself, scum."

Oo, can I nominate Lao and Swift as "the Batshit Duo"? rofl I wouldn't have even thought of putting Swift in here before, but his rather nonchalant throat-slitting of Mr. Fanatic in the forest has got me a little worried. sweatdrop
If I can't have them as a Nut-o Pair, though, then I'm not sure it's worth it. So if that won't work than I nominate our newest character, Sister Lily. 'Cause Beta Beta Chi, my friends - that b***h Be Crazy.

I'll go ahead and nominate Swift. Now, don't get me wrong Yasu, i love Swift, really...but...I do believe poor Kaika dear would run from him in the rpg. ^_^
