Because it's running kind of slow right now, at some point when I get all the material and equipment necessary, Cryosect may become entirely mine. Or I may start an entirely new project with other people....I dont know yet. I just want to make music....

Those tracks are a little more metal than I intended them to be....I'm thinking about taking the guitar out altogether and just keeping it aggro/industrial-ish

you could always fade the guitar out.....so it is there but has less of a presence.....or if your editing program allows you to put effects on tracks, experiment with those(on the program i use..some effects, when set right, make the guitars sound, well not like guitars)....if the guitar at all is part of the structure of the song, removing them completly could hurt the integrity of the mix (sorry, havent actually listened, so i cant give my complete opinion, but i am just throwing some things out there).
experiement and see what ya like best

Well, if you ever decide to listen to it, I'm sure you'd agree with me that if the guiltars are taken out, the track it still strong. Even so, I could do some editing, change the kick lines a bit, and some synth lines and it'd sound just fine without guitars. Or, I could just write new music....lol

Well, I really meant for it to be simple, like T3CHN0PH0B1A, but the guitarist I had didnt believe in that, so that's why it all sounds so metal.

the other thing you could do, is cut the unneccesary parts off the guitar tracks, so they are shorter and more simple, and blend them with the rest of the music so they don't stand out so much, and just make them a little louder at the points you want them to stand out... maybe kinda like how Atari Teenage Riot did it for their song speed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZ5TpXpoSUi will listen to your stuff soon, so i can give my complete opinion

ok, so i actually listened, and i gotta say i really think the main problem is that the guitar is too loud in the mix, and it kinda drowns out alot of the other stuff going on.
Near the beginning of promised child it sounds good, but later on in the song, there are points where it really seems to overpower everything else, even the vocals a few times. BUT at the same time i dunno if the song would have quite the same sound without any guitar at all.
so, after listening i would suggest maybe playing with the volume of the guitar tracks before taking them out. Or you could do both and have others listen to them...may be even post a thread here and have vote

You have a very good idea. That wont happen for a bit though, considering my band mate has all the material and software. and I have no current access to a studio. I do intend on making new music at some point. December was the last time I did work on anything.

I dont know how you could have spent an hour. When composing or mixing, an hour feels like ten minutes.
