 Rates for You, ATers!
Upon request, a rating area has been set up.
We are hoping to amass some of Avatar Talk's best raters to begin the campaign.
As of now, we offer these ratings:
1. How do I look?
We will tell you just what we think, along with suggestions.
2. Where do I rank?
We'll tell you what number your outfit deserves on a scale x/10.
3. Ask the ATer?
This week's ATer - if time permits- will rate your avatar how they so choose.
Once more raters hop on board, we will develop some unique rates for the thread, but for now we are a budding group. <3

How do I become a rater?

In this portion of Ask the ATer, discussions will be posted.
We are currently taking suggestions on new topics, making sure they are AT-relevant.
IE, No topics like, "Do you have any pets?"
Topics like, "Has the forum become too overrun with Tektek threads?" will be allowed and encouraged.

FAQ Q: Why is this in Friends Chat?
A: When the thread was designed, it had too much focus on individual users, and not the AT, I guess. A mod decided it was not fit for the forum, and moved us in here.
Q: How do you choose your ATer?
A: We are just moving right on down the list, unless the next up has a previous engagement in "real life" (pfft). If that is the case, they get tagged into Ask AT limbo and will let us know when they are ready to go.
Q:How long does each ATer get?
A: Five days, unless the ATer is requested for longer and agrees. We have a lot of people waiting for the chance.
EDIT: As of lately the questions have been cming in at a trickle, so we wait fr a good number to be amassed before changing over.
Q: Isn't this just a glorified avatar spotlight?
A: Yes and No. Yes, this will put certain ATers with fantastic style in the spotlight, but at the same time I wanted this to be more interactive than a simple showcase. They are here to EDUCATE, and so we can get to know them a little better.
Q: How may times can you type ATer on one page, honestly?
A: Lots! With more to come, I'm sure. :]
Q: Will you ever have more than just you two running the thread?
A: Hopefully! I made the mule, and now I just need some staff. Post here, or drop the mule a PM.
As of now, the staff consists on alhandra patchoulii and slutfayse.

You can call me Kasey, Allie, Patchy, Patches, anything you want, really. Ask the ATer sprang from a boring weekend and a desire to better my home forum.
I've been a member of Gaia since October 15, 2003. I came to the AT forum VERY soon after it first opened, once I realized what it was. I can't remember the exact details as to how. I joined the Avatar Talk Adopt a Newbie program in spring 2004 and candycrack showed me what there was to know about AT, circa Spring 2004. xD Things have changed drastically since then and I've watched people come and go, wishing I had known them better. Hopefully with the creation of this thread, things like that will no longer happen.

She can go ahead and update this whenever she feels the urge.
