What do you guys think are the advantages and disadvantages of being homeschooled/online schooled? I've gone to school in an official building my whole life, (I think it's alright) but since I'm moving far away over the summer and I'm really bad at making friends and better at paying attention when I'm alone, I thought I'd try online schooling. I think it might work out pretty well, but I wanted to hear from some people who've actually experienced it. So, what do you think? Post all the ups and downs of online or home schooling^-^

I've been taking classes online for a few years now. I've been to both public and private schools and online learning is what's worked best for me. You can work at your own pace, you get more help from the teachers and I've learned a lot more than I ever did in traditional school.
However, it takes a lot of self-discipline. You're responsible for turning in so much work each week, and you don't have a teacher right there making sure you're working. If you fall behind pace it can be tough to get back on track. Try flvs.net for more information.

Personally I think the only disadvantage being Home Educated is if you're like me and stay at home and do nothing else, as you don't get much Social life in Reality. Everything else however is very good, as I get time to stay at home and do the stuff I want and learn the stuff I WANT to learn, instead of learning stuff that Schools want you to learn.
