In general, we won't be picky about what's posted in the general discussion forums. Therefore, don't worry about TuxedoPengu and I going Nazi on you about your posts (Priesia might be, but he's nice). But there are a few guidelines we would like you to follow when either making a thread or posting in a thread.

* * *

Guideline 1:
Please keep all discussion in the general forum somewhat decent. Keep your memespeak ("obvious post is obvious," "so i herd u liek mudkipz," "longcat is looong," etc.), l33tspeak, SMS/text message-speak, and other such internet language to a minimum. I wish to allow everybody on Gaia the opportunity to enjoy our guild.

Guideline 2:
I am not going to be harsh on language. We are all pirates after all so the use of a little foul language is somewhat allowable. I just do not want entire posts consisting of foul language.

Guideline 3:
Please be considerate to the other shipmates. We are all equals on this thread, so I do not want large drawn out whining battles that I have to break up. If I find you bad mouthing other members in the forums you will get one warning. Do it a second time and I will make you walk the plank and BAN YOU.

Guideline 4:
All shipmates should do their best to use proper grammar, spelling, and structure in the story threads. Shipmates should be open to candid, open, and constructive criticism, and members are highly encouraged to offer their own constructive criticism as well. Please do not be afraid to offer a post for criticism, or to offer constructive criticism. This way, we all improve as writers.
