The place to get cut-price fashions from the city, as well as uniforms, sportswear, and accessories.
Not surprisingly, the owner, Ruby, is a... how do I put this?... flamboyant woman. She likes to talk, to put it mildly. And she scares boys and men alike.
Let's face it, she scares everyone. In a nice way, obviously.

Tess walked in wearing high-tops, knee high socks, a black t-shirt and a black skirt.

Ruby saw Tess walk in and let out a yelp of happiness.
"Hello darling! Might I just say, you are a woman of style!" she beamed, and bustled out from behind the counter.
"Looking for anything in particular darling? Sportswear, casual clothing?" she eyed Tess, "Date wear perhaps?" she added coyly.

Tess smiled "Thanks. Uh, yeah. I'm kinda going to the movies with my guy-friend."
Ava walked in and immediately walked to the sports section to get a leotard.

"Just a second my dear." She walked over to Ava.
"Parkers' Pumas? I'll find one with the school logo on for you shall I? They're partly paid for by the school so you only pay £5." She went behind the counter and pulled out a Parkers' leotard, then she handed it to Ava.
"If there's anything else you need, just call." she said, and went back over to Tess, picking up a red and white striped jersey dress and some black leggings.
"Here's my pick. This style would really suit you, especially if you have some red converse. And just for you, I'll cut the price!"

Ruby beamed. "I thought you would. I have a knack."
She looked at the sizes on the clothes. "The leggings are small, and the dress is... the same. That looks about right, do you want to try them on?"

She looked down at the clothes. "Nope, I'm so tall and thin that I can almost wear anything. I'm sure it will fit."

Harri walked in, plugged into her phone mp3. She was wearing:  But she walked towards a black skirt with a blue star on its hem, and pulles out one earphone. Looking over at Ruby she smiled a little. "This is nice. How much? Oh, and that cute top!" she said, moving towards a small black vest with indigo sleeves.

Ruby put Tess' clothes in a stylish paper bag with pink ribbon handles, smiled at her, then flounced over to Harri.
"My, you have such good taste. Let's see... the skirt is 10... the top is 7... £17 dear. Might I add we also have that top in other colours."

As Tess left, Rain came in. "See ya later Rainy." Tess said and Rain rolled her eyes with a smile.
Rain walked directly to the shoe area and looked at the ballet shoes. She frowned as she saw that none where like the one's she had now. Her teacher told her that she should get new ones. She loved hers, they were icy blue and matched her personality.

Harri smiled. "I really like them, so I'll take them. Mind you, Ruby, since youve got such a knack, can you pick out a cute pair of shoes for me?" she grinned at Ruby, holding her purse. the purse was kinda bulgy, 'cos Harri had stuffed so much loose change in there. 1's and two-pence coins kept threatening to burst out of it.

Ruby laughed. "I'd be delighted. Perhaps..." she walked towards the shoes and picked one off the shelf, "This? For formal, or..." she picked another shoe out, "This for casual?" One was a midnight blue satin pump, with a slight kitten heel, the other was a black and blue sneaker with white laces.
"Excuse me dear." she said, and went over to Rain.
"Ballet shoes, eh? We do have some more in the back if you can't see what you're looking for. May I?" she said, and shuffled to the back room.
She came back with a pair of shimmery ice-white ballet shoes, with sky blue ribbons. "Do you fancy these, sweet?"
