I'm not sure, but I think I'm suffering from many personality disorders. But I'm afraid to go to my doctor about it, even though she's nice to me. What I'm most afraid of is my parents shrugging it off and saying it's all in my head, and there's nothing wrong with me. That's what most of my friends have done, and it's really hard. Can anyone help me?

Do you think you have multiple personalities, or do you think that you have something like borderling personality disorder? I really think you should go to your doctor, as soon as you can! If your parents don't believe you, maybe they could sit down with the doctor as well, and have her explain to them what's going on. Maybe then they would take it more seriously? Let me know what happens k! But I really hope you choose to go to the doctors, it's for your own good!

I know I should go to the doctor (and it's many personality disorders like anti-social... I think I found the quiz in this guild, actually) but I know her personally. That makes things a lot harder. And another problem is I'm shy. Telling my parents I think something might be wrong with me isn't so easy.

At least try to talk to your doctor. Explain as much to her as you can, even if it means you have to ask for a piece of paper and a pencil. If you don't think your parents will listen to you, ask the doctor to explain to them.

But the only way to get to my doctor is to get an appointment through my parents... and they would ask why I wanted an appointment, which is a question I'd like to avoid for now... I might have an upcoming appointment for asthma medication. I'll have to check, but I hope I do.

Hi, I ran into similar problems when I was younger and needed to be diagnosed...my parents thought I was just acting, making it all up, they've since learned that was their error and being diagnosed and treated has helped a lot. Bite the bullet, tell them you have "questions", that's easier for them to take...and let your Dr. do her job from there. Good luck and keep us posted!

Who do I ask the questions to? Sorry, but I have trouble thinking coherently sometimes...

Ask the questions to your Dr. But to get the appointment, tell your parents you have questions. This way they know you have questions but may not think you feel you have any disorders (your parents) Your Dr. can know all of your concerns.

My parents are actually really nosy, but I'll do my best. Hopefully they won't be this time. Thanks everyone! Hopefully I can get all this sorted out.
