Adetokunbo, or Eto as many called him, was making his way towards a certain unusual place. He had be warned of course to not go there, tales of the evil Api tribe shaman had reached many tokoro's ears. But yet he still was determined to go meet with this shaman. No one so far had been able to answer his question, a question which haunted his tortured mind. To get the answer would allow him to die in peace, and so this youngling was willing to give up practically anything to know the truth. And who would know life's mysteries better than a shaman? A faint chill seemed to drift over him and he shuddered, but continued on. He was close to the infamous tree of the shaman.

Edom, known as a Shamen in the parts of the island, lurked within his enclosed space that was of his room. This room had a dark and omnious feel: something like death. It gave a very spine-chilling feeling to those who walk by it or come into it. Of course, the decor was to suit that of a shamen. There were wooden shelves with jars carefully labeled with what was inside of it. And what was that? No one dare asks of the contents of the jars or either tries to read the labels.
He sat by his window that overlooked the grounds of this dense forest. Nothing interesting was going on and he was stuck mixing up herbs and berries together. It seems that a sibling of his was feeling ill. Guess who had to make that go away? Him. He sighed with boredom. It was no fun curing the sick without playing with them a little first.
Quite some time had passed by and the elixir was finished. He laid down on his bed on his back looking up at the shelves. "What should I conjure up next? Maybe something fun with those frog eggs and fly wings..." He thought to himself. Today was definitely boring. Boring. He slugglishly raised himself and found a zebra patterend little Tokoro wondering around at their tree base. That caught his attention quite well...and he was young too...

Eto felt a shiver run up and down his spine, and he was sure he was he was near the right tree. He began moving slower, curiously and cautiously walking about the bases of trees. Unfamiliar scents assaulted his nose, some good, some strange, and some rather nasty. But one scent was the most prominent, and it was definitely from a tokoro. It wasn't a bad smell, just different.
He followed it to where it seemed to be the strongest, the base of a good sized tree. He stopped, mentally debating whether to go through with it. But he had to know the answer. He simply couldn't take not knowing a day longer. He took a deep breath and looked upwards, trying to see the Shaman's nest. "Hello?" he called out, trying to keep his voice from quavering. "Is this the home of the Api tribe's Shaman?"

Edom peered over a little more out of his window so that his head would show down below. He looked down with a slight irritated look on his face; though, it was more that he was in a daze state. "Young and a cute voice~ Mmm..." he thought to himself. It took him a few seconds to process what the little one yelled to him about. He shook his head and answered strongly, "Yes, that would be I. State your matter of business. I am a very busy man."
He didn't get many young visiters since mostly the elders would get sick often, then come visit for medical aid. Also, woman came for pregnancy help but woman didn't interest him much. There are other shamens around, but mostly they were old geezers about to hit the ground soon. He was the youngest one currently and many like to visit him more. It was a nice change to see a young one come by. It was very nice.

Eto swallowed nervously and cleared his throat. "I beg your pardon sir, I came to seek your wisdom. I have a question that no one has been able to answer and I was hoping you could help me out. If you'd allow me to I'll come up so you don't have to force yourself to yell."
He stared up at the red and black head above him. This was the infamous Shaman. He was nervous, one did not merely seek out a shaman on a whim, they had powers normal tokoro knew nothing about. He waited, trying to be patient but fidgeting, hoping for a favorable response. But the older male didn't seem to be too happy to see him.

The young boy's voice was oh-so soothing and nice. It was music to his ears. "Mmm..." he hummed outloud in content bliss. He was lost in his own twisted mind. He was thinking how to play with this little one. Oh what he could do to this little one seeking answers. He could show him all.
"Very well," he shouted down to the boy. "If it is just a question, it shouldn't take too long..." he trailed off. He did lie he was busy. He was infamous for "accidentally" giving killing people in his own fun way of curing them. Not many people seek his help unless it was major or was desperate. This little boy wasn't going to leave very quickly at all. Oh no he wasn't...
Edom waited for the boys arrival to his room. His room was neat except for some mess of his cauldron in the middle of the room.

Eto didn't want to make the Shaman wait any longer and with one more deep breath he scurried up the tree to his home. He quickly glanced about the room built into the tree, it was fairly clean with all sorts of mysterious things, some of which were the sources of the awful smells. But the Shaman looked comfortable there.
The Shaman himself seemed to be the main feature of the room. Eto soon found himself starring at the mysterious figure in front of him. He looked up at the red tokoro, noting the blue eyes and the feathery markings on his back. "Sorry to bother you sir, my name is Adetokunbo, though most tokoro call me Eto. I have a question that no one else can answer. If you could help me out I'd be very grateful, though if you can't I would understand." He realized he was rambling and with a snap he closed his jaws, his eyes sinking down and trying to stare through his paws.

The shaman had sensitive smell but to what things were. He was quite used to putrid smells since he had to work with them often. Though, he can depict what many scents were.
He walked over the cowarding young boy named Adetokunbo. What an odd name the boy had. What was up with his parents? No matter, it was a mistake for his parents to let him wonder around. He stood infront of the boy in a menacing fashion. He could never appear to anyone normally. It was just a force of habit to keep his mystique.
"I welcome you to my humble abode, Kun," Edom greeted Eto with giving him a nickname to his liking and observing his beautiful coat. He had to contain himself from putting physical contact with the boy. It was not the right time. Just not yet... "You understand, you have agreed to owe me a favour in return. A question is a question but you are a questioning fellow without an answer of a question, am I right?" He questioned in a confusing manner.

Eto...Kun...stared up at him, and blinked. Twice. Thrice. His mind was busily whirring along trying to figure out what the Shaman had said to him. He then realized that he had shrank back from him just a bit and forced himself to stand his ground as he tried to figure things out.
"Well I guess I can go by Kun" he muttered, mainly to himself. "Well I guess that if you can answer my question then I will definitely owe you something in return, Sir." He thought that was what the Shaman was saying. Equivalent exchange, a favor for an answer to his question. "Is that what you meant?"

Edom enjoyed Kun trying to figure out what he had said. "Good. Good. This little one will be fun to play with..." he trailed off in his mind while thinking of what to answer him of next.
"I wouldn't know. It is all what you think I meant. As one would say, "The reader is the one that decides what he or she reads." So it all depends one what you thought what I meant, young one," Edom replied complicatedly. He was having so much fun and oh, it felt good.

Et...Kun stared up at the male, a look of pure confusion plastered on his face. "I...I guess I thought that you meant..." He paused to ponder the confusing words and started again. "I assume you are telling me that...what I think you said is what you said...so I think that I have to offer a favor for you to answer a question. So if you answer my question I will grant you a favor!" As he began to figure out, to him, what it meant his words flowed out, excitedly.
"Did I get that right? I do hope so" A grin worked its way slowly across his face. This Shaman was smart, maybe he could help him!

The shaman let out a slight chuckle to the young boy's excitement of figuring this out. He was getting it but the struggle was worth it. Words are such a fun spell to weave together.
"A favour? Really? You'd do such a thing for an old shaman as I? That is very kind of a young one like you. I appreciate it so much~ And what do you speak of hoping you got what right?" He questioned acting with a lost look on his face. It was just more torture to Kun.

"I don't think you're old" the boy replied back, half out of politeness and halfway thinking that he wasn't that old. Then he had to pause to figure out the rest of what the shaman had said. "I hope I understood you correctly is all, sir."
This tokoro was confusing, and something about him felt a little off. But still shamans were to be trusted, so he shoved the feeling away. "Is it ok if I ask you my question now? I don't mean to be rude but I've been trying to figure this out my whole life."
