Commander Taryn climbed over a pile of rubble as he slowly made his way through the ruined city. He had no knowledge of who the former occupants of this civilization were, nor where exactly he was. All he knew for sure was that he had to make do with what he had at the time. Lesson one of Domoran Empire Survival Training, he thought with a smirk.

As he rounded yet another street corner, his HUD on his helmet visor scanned the area and found more of the same.....nothing. Taryn sighed and shook his head in disgust. He had been wandering this ruined city for three days now, and he still hadn't encountered any people, aliens, or any other life form. For all he knew, this planet that he had been transported to was as lifeless as the empty buildings around him.

Taryn immediately brought up his assault rifle and aimed it at the life form that had suddenly appeared before him. The newcomer sounded like a human, but not entirely. He flipped on his external communications, "Human, I guess. Although I'm not entirely sure what a zombie is anyway. Now, I should ask the same question to you."
