Ok so I'm starting a band and I'm wondering if anyone has any advise. These are some problems we have right now:
-Raising Money for a drum set (does anyone know where we can get good cheap drum sets?)
-deciding on a name (we want something cool and not corny stressed )

WEll The Name Depends on the Kind of Music like Metal Rock/Alternative indie Rock Or what so yeah I have a cool band name but it is for me when I make a band! xD

Anyway we can't figure out a name for your band if you don't say what kind of music you play ...

first of all.....don't go to guitar center for drums.....or anyrthing really.....
second.....names...hm......The Rotten? Savenger? Maggothead?

The name depends on the kind of music and the impression you want to make on the listener. And it has to be something attention-catching and unique. Not really sure about drums....depending on how old you and your pals are, you could get summer jobs....? *shrug*

the name should kinda go with ur music type and u should find a drummer w/ a set but check samash.com my band needs a drummer and another guitarist sad

Don't even think about a name yet. Wait till you have enough songs to truly know your sound first, else you'll be trying to fit your songs to your name.
