My first piece i've soldered!

He's not entirely finished. I'd still like to make eyes.
Probably little ^^ ones.

So far so good. I haven't really hit the hard stuff though. My husband is just showing me the ropes in between doing his repair work for customers.

I do little things around the shop that I can, like using the laser welder to weld charms onto charm bracelets and repair breaks in necklaces and stuff.

The big thing i'm getting into is sizing gold rings. It's fun but nerve wracking because it's actual customers jewelry. I'm ok in the sense that if something goes wrong the experts can fix it. wink
