Wow, the world was awfully big and bright even so late in the evening; not that it troubled him in the least to be out after the city streets were all lit up with the lamplight and the storefronts with all their pretty human trinkets. There were plenty of people about too, most of which never gave a passing glance towards the silvery tan and blue padding creature with ears tipped forward catching all the sounds carried on the night breezes. Far from home, no worries; he knew the way back so he didn't bother to ponder the way back just yet. A soft sound, much like a chuckle but not quite; danced across his drawn lips and past the edge of his lolling tongue as he crossed the street and reared up on hindpaws to shove his big front pads up against one of the dim windows, staring at the reflection in the glass and leaning in to breathe against the glass and muss it up with the moister left behind. A whim, he flicked his wide tongue out and lapped at the smooth surface, making something of a face at the flat taste and flopped back with four paws to the ground.
Shrugging off the moment he started back down the busy street, weaving and ducking around people; knowing sure as the big silvery moon was oh-so high above there was a rubbish bin somewhere near that was just overflowed with something to tame down the restless hunger in his belly that didn't come from a bowl on a step. Sometimes, really; a dog just had the urge to roam and nose around to see what the night have to offer outside four walls and his nice comfy bed. And the night was singing to him, no better reason than that to lift his muzzle high and give a bellow of a howl to join the city's evening chorus.

(( D: Sorry for taking so long.. Once I get my short hair female~ She'll be taking Kaijin's part ))

The dark blue eyes of a small female Jack Russel yawned, half away on a step of a meat store, a large piece of meat hanging from her mouth, it was cooked of course. She hated raw food. And doesn't see how the other dogs could even think about eating it. Chewing on it slowly, she looked back to see where the other dog was, she was on a mission for her, and until she got back, she had to complete it on her own.
Kaijin quickly chocked the meat down and made her way on the crowded street, the darkness made her hair completely black with the night shadows, but her blue eyes made the humans stare at her, saying that why such a cute puppy wander the streets alone, She was soon getting annoyed with the humans, but didn't bother reacting. She continued her way through the busy streets, hoping that she would see the other that she was looking for.
No sign of her yet. The soft breeze came across her as she smelt another dog nearby, but it wasn't the one she was looking for. Kaijin frowned a bit but followed the smell, maybe this dog knows where the dog that she is looking for is. But she the dog that she is looking for is so new, maybe this dog doesn't know, but she doesn't know until she tries. Tracking the scent, she sneezed and looked around, maybe it was her.. Because she doesn't see a dog around anywhere.

It was difficult not to get your own paws a little wrapped up when you had four of them to deal with and there was plenty going on around you. He padded down the street and paused at a car parked at the curb; jumping up to hook his front pads on the window of the small vehicle and peer at himself in the window. Sticking his tongue out some he snickered, amused; then flopped back down and kept walking.
He caught scent of a stranger, ears sloshed forward in a silky wave as he tried to get a fix on the sound but...no, too far away. His nose was better though, and he shoved it to the ground circling around and around back and forth; now he wanted to know where the scent was coming from.
He nearly clomped right over the little dog, pup; either way it was smaller than him. He wouldn't have counted too many to be bigger than himself though; Tobin maybe but Tobin was a monster sized dog; he bordered near to medium sized himself but he could shoulder to shoulder with more than a few shepherds and doberman dogs he'd talked to around the city junkyards. So he had to scurry back, flopped right over on his haunches and sat there peering at the little Russel with an apologetic grin. "Ayeah, sorry 'bout that, didn't see ya at'first." The words flowed with a faint laughing sound as he tipped his head a bit.
