How do you respect and acknoledge someone as a captain when you feel that they have not respected you even though you are a veteran member and you are flag captain?

Its just kind of a "you know your place type of thing" show her you respect her, or act like you do, and if you feel disrespected, pull her aside and talk to her about it, do accuse her or anything just politely tell her how you feel. Don't do it in front of any of the other girls though, that would make it seem like your trying t o undermine her, and you dont want to do that, she is captain and she deserves respect, your band director obviously put her there for a reason.
