I was looking through my photobucket when I came across these pictures I drew back in the day.

(Boy my chibi's sure havent changed much)

But I totally remember when I actually had an avatar, a real avatar in which I kept it fairly similar for most of the time. (though there was a lot less options for changing it much)

I was just reminiscing about when I was a newblet as I've had four (for the most part) wonderful years on Gaia.
Today is my fourth Gaiaversary :3

I'm fairly sure we have had a discusion such as this before but I cant recall >_>
So how has your first avatar progressed?

The first item I ever got was the decorative daisy. (And actually I guess this would answer Knil's question about the One item thing as I still always wear the daisy)
The first outfit was donated to me. Then I quested for the wings which took forever as gold was hard to come by. but my avi slowly evolved that year till I went wild with other items.
I still have all my items from back then (except for the red shirt and neon shoes)

My first newb outfit was something along the lines of this:

(Had to tektek it since I don't have a pic of that one saved on this computer.)

Yeah, I had no style. The first thing I ever really quested was the fox set, which I still have, but probably wouldn't be caught dead in now. xd

Then, I finished questing my very first DI (cuz they weren't MC's yet) making my avi look like this:

Still no style.
By the time GtHb made that fateful thread killer thread in the GCD, my avi was something along the lines of this:

That was the first avi I had tektek'd (or was it gavsim'd) and quested for. That was after I had been in the AT for a while. I haven't been there in years.

So, thats the progression of my avi.

Oh, yeah. Points to anybody who actually remembers my avi looking like this:

I still remember my first newbie outfit and its variations. I wanted to tektek it, but tektek has bad layering between the hairstyle and the elftech hat I used to wear. When I feel like it, I might go ahead and go through and get pics or tekteks of the first few main outfits I had. I used to be last longer with one outfit than I do now. xp

Yeah. There was a glitch where, if you deleted your avi, you could change gender without it counting against your 'official' gender changes. All the AT prommies started doing it to mess with people. Then, eventually, everyone figured it out. xd

Yeah. There was a glitch where, if you deleted your avi, you could change gender without it counting against your 'official' gender changes. All the AT prommies started doing it to mess with people. Then, eventually, everyone figured it out. xd

oh well no wonder, I bet they delete their avatar on a weekly basis XD
