Happened to notice a naked Runswithscissors421.. eek ..Has she been hacked?? Or anyone else??
I got today a letter from the Gaian Team (turned out to be a SCAM) asking me to fill out a Moderator Application which asked for passwords. I immediately reported this and got a response that it was a SCAM!!! I have to admit the letter looked official but as always Mods never ask for passwords so that tipped me off...I hope no one else has gotten this letter or fallen into the trap..
Just thought I'd spread the word about the lastest/oldest scam going on.
I do hope no one here has gotten hacked..

lot of scams look like the real thing. I always remember that no "real" site will ask for passwords or any personal info from you. I hope Runs is okay!

I spoke with runs the other day and she hasn't been on gaia for a bit due to job and being busy .

sweatdrop Great to hear she is okay!!!!..I was worried.
Not to sound like a worry wart but that doesn't explain why her avi is naked...whenever I see those I get nervous..

Needless to say - I am very upset about this!!!
Why would runs log in today at 3:28pm (motermouthkea at 3:26pm) and is still naked and not posting here on these threads or posting anywhere, especially her daily prayer?
My only conclusions is that she got hacked or she isn't a real person as I thought her to be, possibly someone's mule and emptying the account. It wouldn't be the first time that someone has misled me into believing they were a real person and in fact a mule - I just wished that they had told me this right off from the get go instead of making a fool of me.
Either way, it makes me feel very, very sad!

I agree with you totally Swirli, I don't like looking the fool either.. When I have a chat with someone I expect them to be "real" not someone's mule or at least be told prior...had to sound off!!

I got a note from Judy on Facebook that she was getting bored with Gaia, not because of us, just in general, and when she mentioned it to a few people the first response she got was..."Can I have your stuff???" She was very put out by that. She was undecided what she wanted to do, she has been busy with work and such, and doesn't have alot of time to go online right now.

Yeah, I felt horrible for her when she told me that. (I'm Lana btw in case anyone didn't know) I wanted to give her a hug so bad, I typed her one in my reply to her on facebook, but it didn't feel the same. She might have had a different opinion about leaving gaia if the greedy people hadn't shoved their greedy noses into it. She said if she was going to give her stuff away, it would probably be to her kids, which is perfectly fair, that's how it should be.

I'm glad to hear that she isn't a mule account because I think she is an outstanding kind, sweet, generous, giving person and then some +. Its sad to think of her leaving.
Whoever she spoke to about leaving Gaia - whether at Facebook or here and gave her that kind of response isn't truly her friend but someone out for greed of pixel items.
Could someone give runs a message at Facebook that she is truly missed. Thanks!
