Short Personality Description: Sleek, suave, and utterly in control in public, Gunnar tends to adapt to his surroundings as seamlessly as if he was made for socializing. He's a pathological flirt and utterly without shame when it comes to the niceties of love -- even if it's just a flirtation and nothing serious. He has an inability to settle down and become serious, though with such a lack of inhibition, he doesn't really feel he needs to. He'd hate to break a heart, though, so he's very upfront about his beliefs. He also is quite proud of his appearance and the fastest way to get to his pleasant side is to pay physical attention to him. A few weaknesses include his inability to take things seriously (which is what got him into this situation in the first place), and a tendency to be a bit of a know-it-all and sarcastic with people who aren't so quick on the uptake, though he tries to suppress that.
However, in his spare, private time, the flirtiness drops a bit and he seems simply -tired- and disheartened, unable to practice that which had been his chosen profession and passion since his youth. When alone he spends time trying to work on his mastery of the English language and settle down. He's given up on practicing for now, and seeks to use that 'X-factor' of charm he has to make a different name for himself here, as well as possibly put aside enough money to try and get instated as a lawyer here, sometime years in the future.
Reason for being Hired: Recently, he was a new lawyer that'd made quite a name for himself in Germany. Of course, for putting away criminals, that name made him infamous as well, and sabotage of his investigation and trial by the associates of a man his practice had ruined got Gunnar into serious trouble with the law there, and in the end of the long struggle, he was disbarred and told he could no longer practice law, due to a mistake in the trial that put away an innocent man for a year and a half.
Arriving in the country with no money, no name for himself, and no relatives to help him out, he spent a miserable several weeks alone and unhappy, and was on the edge of just giving up and letting go when he came across Searan's club.
Body
Hair Color & Style: Brilliant golden blond, and long -- he wears it in a thick, loose braid over one shoulder. When down, it fluffs wildly in a decidedly leonine manner.
Eye Color: Brilliant, luminous blue,
Build: Tall, perhaps 6'1", and with a body to die for -- sleekly muscular, but not beefy. All legs, with lean hips and broad shoulders.
Tattoos/Scars? A stylized, all-black dragon with its wings spread, the body of it between his shoulderblades and the wings arched out, the tips just barely cresting over the tops of his shoulders. On his left arm, he has a narrow black tribal armband just beneath his deltoid.
Specifics
Expression: Tends to look rather coy and flirty, most often with an impish smile on his lips and his blue eyes mischievously narrowed.
Pose: Probably lazy and laid-back, but teasing. Perhaps with his arms crossed over his chest, leaning in. He tends to invade people's personal space if he's flirting.
Clothing Style, Details, & Reference Pic: He tends to wear things cut close and carefully tailored, though with a rather comfortable tilt to it. For example, a comfortable, dark-colored, closely tailored black button-up shirt under an open light suit-coat to add a little bit of dressiness. Think just a LITTLE more tame and dressy than Klavier.
Accessories: He wears silver rings on his fingers -- one thick seal-like one with his surname's first initial in it on his left middle finger, one very slender band on his left ring finger that he doesn't take off, and a Celtic-knot ring on his right thumb. He also has both ears pierced three times, though he doesn't often wear all the jewelry.
Anything Else? Gunnar speaks German fluently -- he was born in Germany, and is here and moneyless due to circumstances beyond his control. He speaks English just fine, but here and there a German word or nicety will creep in, and he has a warm German accent.
