Their house is one of those 'upside down' houses, where there's a bedroom downstairs and their lounge, kitchen etc. upstairs. There is like 2 little steps into their lounge and apparently granddad couldn't keep his balance when walking up them, and fell over. He's bruised all the base of his spine, grazed his back and bruised his elbow. Apparently he's really aged alot lately aswell. I want to go see him but I don't like seeing him so down and not how he used to be emo

The post you are trying to access is imaginary.
I'm really sorry. --hugs--
I think it might be better to go see him. I realize that he won't be the same, but it might be more painful for him not to see those he cares about.
And you could always try to cheer him up. C:
But whatever happens, I hope all goes well. <3

Apparently he was in a grumpy mood yesterday because he was feeling sorry for himself and was saying things like if he'd known he was going to end up like this then he'd have topped himself gonk

Might I recommend watching "The Last Lecture"? It's very inspirational. I don't know if it would help, but it did make me feel a little bit more hopeful.
I think that this is evidence that you should go see him. If he has a strong foundation of support, it might make him more cheerful. There is a tendency that once a person becomes disabled, their foundation of support starts slipping away. It's very important to make sure he knows you still care for him.
I think a bout of depression is normal on the onset of a disability. But it needs to be checked - too much moroseness is quite damaging to a life.

I'm sorry about your grandpa hun. -hugs- You should visit him though, mystical moon is right, you should visit him, the more support he has the happier he will be. It definately helped my grandpa when he was sick, and I think it would help anyone just to have someone visit. You should visit him while you have the chance, because you never know when he's going to slip away, and you want to be able to remember visiting him until the end.
Good luck, and pm me if you need to talk smile
