Probably not for a year or two. I mean OVA 4 just came out this year.

If the OVA's where running on the schedule they should have run on, I'm sure we'd be seeing it by the end of the year.
I think it'll come out in two years. xD
Oh well, I'm just looking forward to all the PipxSeras animation that we'll at last see in vidid color and movement.

Honestly, though, I'm looking forward to the last fight with Anderson, which won't be till OVA 6, if my estimation is correct...

They're already working on it. I'm betting they'll combine Volumes 6 and 7.

I don't like how OVA 4 squished books four and five together
this is just an excuse to be half assed. cutting out so much from both four and five pissed me off <_<
for petes sake, they did ALL of 1-2-3 and those books were shorter :/

Kopii Arnaert I don't like how OVA 4 squished books four and five together this is just an excuse to be half assed. cutting out so much from both four and five pissed me off <_< for petes sake, they did ALL of 1-2-3 and those books were shorter :/ I dunno, I didn't care that much... Sure, I would have preferred having two OVA's with Rip... but I'm happy with the squishing... Apart from the murder that was removing Willis-space... gonk gonk crying crying crying crying

It was a necessary change. Volume 4 features very little action, and each episode of the OVA is action-oriented. They had to add some action into it, so they combined Volume 4 with Volume 5, and they really didn't cut out that much. OVA IV was a masterpiece. That being said, Satelight, the company that produced the OVA, has lost the rights to do so. After OVA V (which will supposedly be released in the fall), it will be produced by Madhouse, the company that produced Trigun. Here is my source.

eek I think it's scary beyond all reason. I'm glad I buy regular Hellsing OVA DVDs. sweatdrop
Personally I'm jumping out of my skin waiting (impatiently) for OVA 5. I always hated the Pip death scene, but I'm hoping it'll come out soon so we can finally start making some decent PxS AMVs out there.
Hope Madhouse does a decent job... sweatdrop

I actually have my concerns about Madhouse. I'm of course willing to give them a try, but I can't help but be worried that Seras will have pink hair or something. I'm not a huge fan of Madhouse's animation. They killed Petshop of Horrors and I'm not a big fan of Texhnolyze's animation works. But oh well.

The current release date for OVA V is October 24th, 2008. Check out the trailer. I'm betting it will appear on the official website before long, so keep your eyes open. It looks like it's going to be awesome.
