I know they're a little weird, but I can safely say I listen to "De-loused in the Crematorium" on a daily basis.
discuss?

They went downhill from their first. De-loused is excellent, Frances is well-done and Amputechture is OK. Bedlam doesn't even meet the standards they've set for themselves. I have expected so much for them.

It's just that you don't get as much from the rest of the albums on the first or second listen. I mean when you first heard de-loused it was mind blowing, and it just keeps getting better every time you listen to it. Kinda make it a tough comparison. The rest of the albums are really good if you give them a few listens. Flea's trumpet on Frances the Mute - amazing, Vicarious Atonement on Amputechture is like televators part 2, and there are a few songs on bedlam that come so close to capturing the energy of de-loused. And don't forget scabdates.

De-loused was soo good.
At first I hated Bedlam, like absolutely hated it, except for Wax Simulraca[sp?]. Now I can say I like it, but it's not my favourite.

I've been listening to it A LOT lately. I even got my brother to start liking them, which is a big feat for me, because it's usually him sharing musics with me. I listen to a lot softer music than him.

De-Loused is great. Probably my favorite modern concept album. As for order of goodness, its De-Loused>Bedlam>Frances> Amputechture. Sorry to say, but Frances the Mute and Amputechture are weak albums.
