Right, it's taken longer than expected to get around to it but here's a thread where you'll all get a chance to vote on what games, if any, you'd like to play.
Heathen above you - generic game of commenting on the last person to post before you do.
Asked after the answer - A game where you post the question to the answer the last person gave, and then give your own answer for a person to give a question to.
example:
person one : -question- -Until the cows come home-
person two: -how long are you going to be singing that annoying bananaphone song?- -Eating it-
person three: -What are you doing to your television?- -cookiedough-
etc...
Quizzes - One person asks a topic specific question and the others try and answer it.
Lyric/quote game - post a piece of a song lyric, or a quote from a recent movie, and the first person to get song+artist or movie+character/actor gets to ask next.
If you want more than one game, pick the one you think would be the most fun to play in the quiz, and then feel free to post a reply with specifics on what else you'd like..
or what you'd like for a quiz topic..
or what other game you'd like to play..
Or anything you can think of.

Each game would have it's own thread, so cluttering up this one won't help.
The reason most people come to a topic specific guild is the topic, so few are keen on off-topic posts.

 That's true, but getting people more involved via games (which can be themed accordingly) could possibly improve the overall activeness inside the guild. I think it's a good idea. 3nodding
