By then the two elves had wondered the hallways and finally came to the Healing Wing.
Talli raised a brow at Legolas again, before he nodded his head. "Of course."

A couple of healers found their way over to Legolas, all surprised to find the archer on the table. News of his disappearance has been kept quiet.
Talli just briefly came up with an excuse that the prince had fallen down a flight of stairs, and that they should just check for any outer injuries. Meanwhile he'd be off to find King Thranduil.
The rogue gave a bow to the blonde archer, before he slipped past the room, having quite held back his discomfort from everyone.

Legolas sighed in detached frustration. He knew he did not need healers checkin him over, especially since he feared they may find something that should remain hidden. If they drew his blood, the prince knew, they might become suspicious.
However, the sooner he could speak with Thranduil in private, the sooner he could accomplish his goal.

Aside from the cut on his arm, the healers could not find anything wrong with Legolas.
"You're lucky that's all you have, hir nin. Must have been a small flight of stairs," one commented as the rest left to do about their own business.

Legolas did not reply, but he did walk a ways from the table. As long as none of the healers noticed his blood, the prince knew he would be alright. He made his way over to the large hearth within the healing wing. He stoked the embers with a poker for a few moments, starring into the depths of the flames.

Inhale. Blink. Step. Exhale. Repeat.
Talli ran this through his mind, concentrating on making his way over to the healing wing. With Thranduil behind him, the dark elf did his best to at least try to impress the other. But now that his adrenaline was gone, he could no longer escape the effects of the powder.
He was relieved though when they reached the healing wing. Stepping inside, the rogue spotted Legolas over by the hearth.
"There he is..." he announced to the Elven King, stepping aside to let him spot his son.

Thranduil nodded, "Hannon le." he said with a smile.
However, before seeing to the archer, the Elvenking waved over a few Healers. When they arrived, he spoke quickly to them.
"See to Tallison and anything he may need." Thranduil ordered before stepping toward the hearth.
"Ada." Legolas said with a nod of his head when the Elvenking came into his sight.
Thranduil smiled, hugging the younger Elf, "You had me worried." he whispered.
When they pulled apart, the prince smiled, "I am fine, ada. Thanks to my rescuer, that is." he added, glancing back to the fireplace. "Has everything been well in my absence?" Legolas asked, still holding the poker in one hand.
Thranduil nodded, "Of course."

Talli blinked at the healer's, one eye on the two elves. He was surprised to be shown compassion, and had hoped that no one could detect his pain.
He grunted, seeing the elves standing there and staring at him. Now that he stayed longer, they had a closer look at his different features. Waving a hand, he tried to shoo them away.
"I'm alright. Necromancer's powder, it'll wear off or I at least hope so."

Legolas needed to be alone with the Elvenking if he was ever to complete his mission. However, with the Healers around and with Talli watching him suspiciously, the prince was at a loss.
"Ada... can we talk in my study?" Legolas asked suddenly, "I would rather our conversation not be overheard."
Thranduil nodded, "Of course, ion nin. FIrst however, we should make sure that your rescuer is well."
Turning, the Elvenking made his way back over to Talli, with Legolas following him. The prince had put the poker back near the fireplace before rushing over.
"Necromancer's powder?" Thranduil asked, having overheard that bit of the conversation. He looked to the nearest Healer, "Bring me some hot water, very hot water, and a few towels and washcloths." when he turned back to Talli, he smiled, "Trust me. It hurts when it comes into contact with cold or cool water, but the hot water, or cloths soaked in it rather, should wash most of the powder away."

Talli looked at Thranduil square in the eyes as the healers walked off, doing as the king had commanded. Hot water would do the trick?
Hm, made perfect sense.
Right now he felt some remorse claw at his throat. He was the enemy, he had been the enemy for a long time. He had brought pain toward these people. Not many knew him, but if they knew of his deeds.
It had been a long time since he had been shown equality among his former race, aside from Sario.
The rogue fished for the right words, his mind groping for his first language. It seemed respectful to respond back to the king in elvish.
THen he got it. Smiling, Talli bowed his head.
"Hannon le."

Thranduil smiled, "There is no thanks needed, for this is the least I can do for you. After all, Tallison... you returned my son to me safe and sound and that is more than I could have ever dreamed for."
When the healers returned, the Elvenking quickly had them soak the rags in the water.
"Legolas and I must discuss some matter of the city, but when we are finished I shall return here personally and make sure that they," he indicated the Healers, a hint of mischief in his voice, "Have not rubbed your skin raw." the king added with a smile.
Both Thranduil and Legolas bowed to Talli, before leaving the room.

Talli watched them leave, not quite sure what to think. Part of him wanting to go with the two elves or ask about Sario.
Instead he pondered on the statement about the healers. Some of them were dragging the rogue over to a table, already pulling off his vest.
"Wait...Raw?" he squeaked, watching as the elves took the steaming rags and placed them over his skin. They were still undressing him too, except for his gloves since he kept his hands clenched into fists.
"Hey! Hey! OW!"
What followed afterwards were a couple of grunts, a yip and yowling. Talli tried his best to not make any orcish sounds even though he could barely stand the pain.

One of the Healers frowned, "I am sorry for the rough treatment, but it is the only way to get the powder off. If it remains for too long a time, it could scar you... further."

"Further? Further?!" Talli winced, squirming his mostly exposed body under the rags. When the water was beginning to cool, they brought back more boiling pans.
The rogue wasn't much of a complainer, or whiner for that matter, but he was very nervous around these people. Strangers, who as time went by, were beginning to learn about his body structure.
