Anyone ever run into some creature in Castlevania and stopped for a second to think about it then gone, 'Wow, that's weird'? (And I know you've all done it at SOME stage, regardless of the fact that you don't usually think about it purely for the reason that it's Castlevania)
Take this for example: I was flipping through the monster descriptions in DoS and I came upon the Mud Demon. Description: 'A good-looking demon made out of dirt'. Maybe it's just me, but I really stopped and went 'What the heck?'
And how about those whacky corpses that waddle around and explode on you while you're fighting Legion in CoD? Now those are nuts.

I don't so much know about weird, but what about those Oija tables in DoS. I remember walking into a room and this table set wadled up to me and I just thought "Well ok, what suits you then"
And what about those Waiter Skeletons? They stand around, see you, piff a pot of curry in your face and then smash themselves against a wall. Well that was useful. Not to mention that if you get their soul, to "Serve a pot of delicious curry", you throw some curry on the ground. Since when could Soma cook?
And as far as Yorick's skull which you apparently "kick", it's called throwing, Soma.

I always thought kicker skeletons were awesome, based off Kamen Rider, you get ancient belt which is just a Henshin Belt o_O It adds ATT +1, DEF +7, STR +1, CON +5, LCK +1 to stats. Too bad it just does that, no henshin pose or anything. That would've been good for laughs rofl Also, I agree with Hypno, nice sig Oregano Samurai xd

Right, the amphisbaena. According to its descriptions it says its a double headed snake...but the monster is like a dinosaur (with legs) with a chick on the end?

Well, I don't view it as bizarre, but one of the odder creatures in my opinion, is SoTN's Frozen Half. I don't know if it's male, or female, but I absolutely LOVE it's death scream. It's why I'll run though the Reverse Catacombs for no reason other than to mass hear it

I was fighting Legion from HoD the other day, and I started thinking, "What are those things flying towards me?" They're like giant flying (decaying) meatballs. Menace piffs similarly weird looking flying piles of gunk.
In terms of favourite screams, hitting Legion corpse is definitely mine - considering I don't remember a lot of others... sweatdrop

Oh, and then there's always Zacchino. it's one thing for your enemies to hurl all over you, but it's not often that they propose to you.

Or at least that's how it sounds to me anyway... mrgreen And you are welcome Oregano Samurai! BTW, what do you all think of the wheel monster in Dawn of Sorrow? I think it's rather bizzarre that they would put a monster like that in the line up. The ability seems quite useless as well. rolleyes

I think there's the Buer in DoS. It also appeared in AoS along with Bael. Then there's the Demon Wheel in PoR.

Coming from the same wheel-ish family is also the Decarabia. A starfish on a wheel? Get real. 'Deca' means 10, and as far as I'm concerned It's got six or seven points.

Well really I find it's just an aquatic version of the Buer that SoraMee mentioned from DoS. The monster/demon with many legs. Well so far I haven't figured out what's what but I'm quite sure there's a head in there...somewhere.
