A Prompt Challenge? Don't know what it is, well it really is very simple.
You write stories/oneshots that are inspired by a specific "prompt" whether it be a word (toothache) or a phrase (run screaming). You try and complete a whole set/table. Once you complete a whole set you'll be given a banner that proves/shows others that you have successfully completed the challenge(s).
Why would you do this? Besides the cool banner, it helps you learn to weave short stories/plots/characters together and work around an idea. It's fun and if you need to take a break from a project or story OR just need something to get you writing - prompt challenges are a great and fun way of doing both.
Just try it, you'll find you like it more than you think.
Pick any table challenge below and then submit a sign up form in a post so you can be added to the challengers list for that table.
You do not have to sign up for more than one at a time, unless you want to.
There are NO END DATES for these challenges. You complete them for you, so it is you who decides when you write and finish the challenge.
When writing a prompt story/oneshot, you do not HAVE to use the prompt word or phrase in the actual piece so long as the main idea of your story revolves or has to do with the prompt. If it is not obvious, then at the bottom of your piece you might want to take a moment and explain your thought process before you post it up online.

Rules for Challenge Writing and Completing:
-1- All stories must follow guild rules and gaia tos
-2- All stories must be posted here in the guild
-3- Oneshots and Stories accepted: Stories must be no more than 20chapters long.
-4- Challengers MUST create a post for keeping track of each table and stories for each challenge. (create it and you'll be added to the challenger's list - the link lets checking be easy - so remember to link!)
-5- A Word Count should be posted with each story/oneshot
-6- All stories/oneshots should be AT LEAST 100 words
How to Submit for a Challenge:
- make a post with your FF.Net penname linked to your GUILD profile
- List what Table #(s) you will be completing
- List Fandoms you will be writing in (no more than 3)
