here are the profile forms, RP tips, and other improtant information you need before you start RPing on the City thread. make sure you have read the arrow history thread.

Name: your characters name. It has to be a real name not "Darkness" or "Sanguine princess". preferably with first and last name but last name is not needed.

Age: nothing over 1000 years. If you do pick a historical era to be from then i expect you to know your history. If you don't know any history then please remain a newborn 'modern' vampyre.

Bloodline: pick First, Second, or Third, or use the "common" titles of Beast, Heretic, and Daywalker. Each one has certain abilities and weaknesses. Give specifics in the case of Beasts because there are many animals to choose from.

Occupation: everyone has a job they perform, even if it's "crazy homeless guy". Please give a name of your business as well as your position within it, and if you feel like being creative, the street names and address of the building. Also, please state where you live/rest during the day, whether it be a house, apartment or refridgerator box.

Power: every vampyre has a spiritual power that is unique to them as they were unique in life. It may have something to do with the personality of the person or be completly surprising. For example; a woman that acted very cattish in life may have the spiritual power to shift into a feline form (note, spirtual powers are different from fera shifting, if you were bitten by a Beast then you may have a spiritual power in addition to your animal form) or someone that loved working with electronics may be able to turn onlights without flipping a switch or something.If your character is newborn he might not know what his power is yet, but still put a power here for him to discover later. remember that every 100 years of living as a vampyre grants you another spiritual ability. Please keep them creative, and differnt from anyone elses.

Appearance: farely detailed please. Noone saying "my avi" or a pic in their sugnature. Describe exactly how you look to other characters.

Bio: a short biography including when they were embraced, where they were embrased, why they are working at their current job/station in life, whether or not they have a herd, and what they think of the Queen and her judges.

Other: this is only if you have other information we need to know. if the character is a Half vampyre for example you place here the circumstances of the characters creation, possible names of parents so the rest of the vampyres can hunt them down for making halfbreeds.

RPtips

-->Queens Judges are NPCs played by me or my crew. Secret police can be anybody.
-->the Queen may be an anchient vampyre but she is still a woman, so her laws are bound to change on a whim. Basicly, if the judges scare you, watch your step, and don't insult any of them.
--> a major law that has recently been added (recently meaning within the past 50 years) is that vampyres are not to embrace anyone under 18. some older vampyres may still have been younger than that. judges enforce this.
--> pay attention to the time table. i don't want to see any vampyres out after sunrise unless they are of the third bloodline and have fed the night before.
--> eyecolor always shows the emotion you are feeling at that moment. you can turn it on and off however to only show certain emotions or school yourself into only feeling certain emotions. colors are;
red -> anger
orange -> confusion or startlement
yellow -> fear
green -> happiness or pleasure
blue -> sadness or depression
purple -> bloodthirst
gold -> physical desire
silver -> material desire
differnt shades exist if you prefer to be exotic about your eye color and RPing ability.
colors swirl or streak at times. stripes happen when more then one emotion is being felt but one is dominant, the lesser emotions appear as stripes or streaks. a swirl is when you feel more than one emotion equally, sometimes colors blend while swirling.
the darker a color is the darker the emotion. they can become almost black, but any vampyre can tell the underlying color. the brighter the color the more intence the emotion. they can become so bright the eyes seem to glow.
in all colors the pupil is normal. while "vamped out" the pupil is a cat-like slit.
--> use common sense and make sure you have read all info pages.

Name: a real name. Preferaby first and last name but last name is not required.

Tribal name: think indian names. running bear, spotted horse, etc. somthing that shows the personality, appearance, or job of the character.

Age: no fera lives beyond 300 years. Older than 200 and you are either a Mokole and/or a tribal elder.

Species: any animal. Include in here your species special weakness. A wolf is allergic to silver and birds are allergic to gold, for example. Leave it blank at first. I will edit the post if i know a weakness. If i don't you can put in your own.

Tribe: tribe name and totem. Same thing as weakness applies, if i know the totem i will edit the post. If not, you can make up your own.

Pack: pack members and totem. even if you don't have a pack and have gone solitary you still have a personal totem. chose your own.

Occupation: your mundane mortal job. If you don't have one, then you still have a job within the tribe and must list that instead.

Appearance: list the appearance of all five shifts, including which one is your "normal" form; Homid or animal. Be descriptive and do not list "my avi" as your Homid or Animistic shift.

Bio: a short bio including how you accomplished your First Shift, the ideals of your tribe/pack, your veiws on the vampyres in the City, and the Wolf/vamp war.

Other: anything that can't be summerized in the other categories. maybe you're a metis, then list your parents names so the the other fera can shun them.

RPtips

--> fera cannot speak human language in Chrinos shift. They can speak to other fera using a fera language or Mindspeak.
--> to use magic one must utter a spell or be holding a talisman, it is not instantaneous like with vampyres. Spells can be uttured in any shift so long as the proper translations have been made by the one who taught you the spell.

Name- a realisitc human name.

Age- a realistic human age.

Occupation- even if you're a hunter/slayer you still need a job. even if it's "homeless crazy guy"

Appearance- descriptive and no "my avi"s

Bio- a short bio about living in the city and add if you believe the rumors about monsters.

Other- if you are a slayer/hunter this is where you put it. include the strange circumstances of your birth or the reason you desided to start hunting these creatures. also, if you are fera kin that goes here too, especialy if your char KNOWS they are kindred.

RPtips

--> a slayers power shows at puberty and they instictivly know what prey they are meant to hunt even if they don't know the name of the creature.
--> live within your income. I don't want someone who has to beg for money having military grade weapons or silver stakes. or someone with a fast food job living in a huge apartment. if there is a valid explanation of why a low paid person has expensive things then say that in your Bio. (like if you have a rich father or something)
--> fera kin can only speak to animals of their kin species.
--> there is rumor of a kin who has all fera as their parents. like a modern myth. she is supposed to unite and save all within the city. if you want to play her, PM me.

Name: Samuel Thurstrum
Age: Approximately 200
Bloodline: First
Occupation: Antiques dealer. Owns a small shop in the City known for it's unique wares, including one large coffin that no one ever seems interested in. He sells blades, clothing, clocks, rare items from history that few truly care about in the City. He works it alone, and opens at night usually.
Power: Early in his unlife he realized that the cross was not an aversion to him, in fact, he felt drawn to the symbol. Somehow, he overcame the one weakness of his blood by his own power of faith. What he has found, though, is that the cross can effect him if he forgets daily prayers and regular visits to the local church. As he entered the 20th century, he found that the dull lights of early morning and early evening before and after the sun had risen or set could not harm him, though if he waited a second too long, his eyes would be blinded by that first ray of the sun, and his body would begin to feel the pain of the ultraviolet light. Usually he avoids the light at all costs, as sometimes beauty is not worth risking safety.
Appearance: A tall man, nearly six foot two, his form is thin, and his appearance plain. With thin wiry black hair, one wonders about his birth, or where he is from. His eyes usually are simply black, holding none of the emotional shifting of his kind, but when he is out for a night on the town, or seeking anything but buisness, he lets the emotion flow through his eyes. For work, he wears a slightly archaic suit, but the same goes for the blue-blood parties he prefers.
Bio: Born in the early 1800s, he grew up in London. His life had been the child of a merchant, and had garnered a few treasured relics during that type as gifts from his father. Then he was embraced by a woman in his mid twenties. She took him and taught him his histories, and showed him what his life now consisted of, then left him. Since then he wandered, hobnobbing where money could afford it, and starting his trade as a relics dealer. He saw Jack the Ripper come and go in his little city, and then moved away, bringing with him his trade. During those flurry years he had to be swift, and careful, the sunlight being his deadly enemy, his hunger a constant worry. He continued on his ways until he moved to the City, buying a small shop and beggining his shop that would always be considered an oddity. Now, he just lived, seeking high class parties when he could for his meals, worrying more about his little shop than his own feeding. Is constantly meeting odd strangers and buying and trading relics for a chance at a new find.
