I'm indifferent to politics, and Alberta just had an election recently. I think we're progressive conservitive...
I don't care about all the health care and schooling stuff (Though more scholarships would be nice...), however I kind of want liberals, since they want to legalize things I think should be legalized.

meh....im rooting for obama at this point. at first it was hillary, but then she starting lying and shooting down obamas neck for every little thing. If American politics are gonna affect the canadian economy, then i want someone in who can at least tell the truth.
anyway, why is the election compain in the us so frickin long?! its actually getting annoying now. and after there done finding the candidates theres still another...what? year?... for them to pick a president?! thats insane.......

I think it's because the sustem in the US is different. The president holds more power and is more influencial than the prime minister.
I've been rooting for Obama since day one. The Clintons can stay far, FAR away from power as far as I'm concerned.

the honest truth about the pres. an vp are there more like figure heads im more worried about whats going on in iraq and other countries in southwestern asia and who is controlling the us goverment. What makes me mad is bush is more worried about gay marriage than the security of us has he forgot what were fighting for ... to keep the terrorist at bay

Bush is an absolute idiot. Honestly, it says nothing for the voters of America when someone like that gets in. I wish I were a guy, so I could up to him and say "I like to make love to other men! And yet I still find you sexually unappealing." Somehow I don't think he wuld be as opposed to lesbians.
I also think the war on terror is a bit of joke.
