i'm shocked that this thread hasn't been made yet. so i'll make it. i don't own an x-box, but when i get the chance, a few games of halo aren't too bad.

halo is one of the most over rated games thats came out in 07. sadly it wasnt even that good, the online was fun but every single player was a noob so there wasnt even any fun in killing them after about 2 hours

Ok... I have to say, as a series, Halo kicks a**! It is like our generation's Star Wars. I love Halo 3, and yes I have made foundry maps (lol ppl loath foundry maps cuse of crappy designers). Griffball is fun, and I love matchmaking, but all in all, the game "[finished] the fight" well, but it kinda left it hanging a little. Will Master Chief come back?

halo 3 is great if you have x-box live which i dont but the story IS endedyou just have to look it up. the books explain alot but the basic thing is he's in a cryro pod heading towars a habitated planet so it ends the FIGHT but not the story. this is the developers way of keeping the door open so they can come back later or a inventive mind can continue it wihout sounding stupid

It really doesn't matter, they destroyed the flood, and Master Chief is still alive. They may reopen it with a new threat, though this would kinda kill the trilogy. But, the main thing is: bungie does a good job.
What they should do is go back to when the Spartans were being trained and put in some storyline. Master Chief before he was Master Chief. If at all possible, add why things happen the way they did, was there some prophecy on earth unmentioned in the Halo series.

you dont get it.
the flood is exterminated and the covenat are the allies now.
there is no more enemy. the rings dont have to be destroyed
but yeah that would be cool to have a game about their training

I love Halo 3. My boyfriend was the reason I got it, and I sucked a** when we played online. xD
I'm actually good at it now though, but I only play online. Haven't finish the solo game yet.

Halo 3 is a kick a** game but they could have made the campaigne(spelling) longer or more exciting. got to love those spike grenades

My 360 is broken so I need a new one, but Halo 3 was a 5/10
+5 for online play
-5 for the retarded sigle player campaign ( you can predict what the stupid brutes'll do!)
I'd much rather play the Halo 2 campaign on Legendary than the Halo 3 one on same difficulty. Halo 2 was a challenge at least, with Halo 3 all they throw at you are noobish computers and occasionally a group of noobs. Online on the other hand is handfuls of noobs at a time. The "2 for 1" Achievement was the easiest to get. Yeah, every once in awhile you get a compitent player, but seriously, who is dumb enough to run up to the guy with a shotgun? After you see your teamate die formt eh shotgun like 5 seconds ago?

I didn't really like Halo 3's campaign, so I stayed on Live all the time. You wouldn't belive the # of n00bs that start the Halo series with the third one. blaugh

I liked Halo3. It was easier than the other two, but i think that was so more people would be able to play it without dieing so much. thats also most likley the reason for there being so many noobs on Live. that, and that Halo3 was the flagship game for the 360, and there really weren't a lot of games that got as much attention as Halo3. and i think its impossible for anything short of an absolutely flawless game to live up to the hype that halo 3 got, and it really isn't that far from what i expected. the multiplayer is awesome, and tho there are some really easy achievements to get, why would you complain about free gamer points?

i only play online. when i play campaign, i play co-op only. it's boring with single player.
