...I hated but loved this game, there were only 5 chapters and i could beat it in 4 and a half hours with a friend, i also really sucked at the online XP but it was pretty fun...if only there were more levels,...o wait gears of war 2 is coming out sometime,...i already forgot how the first one ended...

I love the crap out of that game, It's fun but short and it has nice graphics, for being as old as it is.

i thought the Gears of War online play was really fun, however i wish there were more weapons. the campaign mode was a little short but that was pretty fun the first time through.

I believe that Gears of War 2 will answer your prayers. There are new things you can do and new weapons. It also sounds like there will be more to do in the story.

I saw the game play videos a couple of days ago, those videos alone make me want to buy the second game.

The online mode was actually added last minute into gears of war, since the game was meant to be single player heavy. However, it worked so well and was so popular, the will be putting a lot of effort into multiplayer next time around.
I own at this game, I beat insane like three times, headshots whenever I use the sniper rifle, and online is easy once you get the hang of how you have to play differently. I.E. hiding behind a wall while someone is running to shoot you is bound just to get you killed.
