I am going to start taking inactivity VERY seriously. I need some kind of notice or guidline. If for instance you computer is messed up or is screwing up find away to contact me, I am but to give out my phone number I am so desperate... I will update this post with more information as soon as I can.

I've already mentioned that I won't be here often enough to participate with the rp anymore, and that I would like to be replaced.
I think you should ask Sanee if she wants to take over Shikamaru. It's not as though we've gotten very far anyway, so there won't be much for her to do.
I've resigned, though; thus my inactivity. I wasn't very good at it anyway.

I wasn't very good at it anyway. You were actually really good at it, and I know you aren't the only one who has been inactive... I respect YOUR inactivity... it was also a test to see how many people are even paying attention... albeit it was a poor test but it was still a test...

...You know, this does sound like a lot of fun! 3nodding Maybe now that the guild has more members, someone could con them into trying this RP stuff. Personally, I've never done it, but that doesn't make it any less appealing.
I so have a character I made up for the Naruto Universe, too and I'd love a shot to use her at some point. biggrin
Also, might I be so bold as to make a few suggestions? Not that you guys did all you could to keep this going; I'm not saying this whole thing sucks. Just a few ideas from a newbie to this place. 3nodding
First off, maybe you could have a thread that is strictly ShikaNeji, but not in complete story format, more like a script format. It's a bit more fun when you see your avatar saying: Shikamaru: Well that's troublesome. *lies back on the grass and sighs heavily, looking at the clouds* You know, where the name of the character is stated followed by what they say (if anything) and any action at any time is put between the star thingies. (*) I used to write stuff like that all the time with a friend of mine back in middle school. It was a lot of fun to just be able to go back and re-read it with nothing but names and actions. (...Oh... I guess I have RPed before. sweatdrop My bad)
Now dealing with that same thread, it would be great if it was a "free for all" type of thing. Instead of assigning people to characters, they could just be those characters whenever they chose. I guess I'm saying it would kind of be like playing "popcorn," you know where one person writes a paragraph for a story, then passes the paper to another person who writes a paragraph off that, passing it to the next person and so on. Someone could just start it off as Shikamaru, saying something, thinking something, acting something, and the next person who comes to the thread could be Neji and say something or whatever. The person who follows that post can be Shikamaru; the original person who started the thread off doesn't always have to be the same person. By doing it this way, it makes it a little fair for those who came in too late to catch their favorite character and this is a ShikaNaji/NejiShika guild. Why else role play, if not for a chance to be one or both of them? And you'd be surprised at how fun that kind of thing can be! rofl
Of course, your more serious, story-format RP is fun, too. I'm sure, though, after a while people just get tired of writing so much (although I doubt I would; me heart writing!) and want to do something a bit easier. That thread I mentioned earlier could be a straight-up funny thing, but you could also make it serious, too, by implementing rules like "Whoever you RP as, they must remain in character at all times, or as close as possible." Personally, having one for fun and another for more serious RP is probably the better way to go.
Again, though, these are just a few thoughts from my perspective, nothing more. I hope you understood all that. eek If not, just PM me and I'll try to make it a bit clearer, if I can. sweatdrop

Good idea.
I can't promise I'll help with this anytime soon (the fact that I like LiveJournal more now and that senior year/life in general is hectic are reasons why), but I'll give it consideration.

In all honesty, I'm not sure how much time I'd have to devote to it right now. School is very hectic. But at least the ideas are out there.
