This quote by Invincible Cydonian Creep got me thinking: (hope they don't mind that I use it)
"I srsly think Elinor Dashwood and Mr Knightly would make a good couple. They'd be very refined. XD."
If you could take any two people from Jane Austen's books and make a couple, who would it be?

I have never thought of any cross over relationships before, interesting concept.

I am honestly quite flattered to have inspired thought!
Yes, Elinor Dashwood and Mr Knightly would be a good couple, although I suspect they'd be quite boring (as well as refined). They're very much like each other. XD.
Or, imagine Mr Knightly and Elizabeth Bennet? I think of this because of the movie Posession, where the actor who played Mr Knightly in the movie of Emma (the 1996? one) and the actress who played Lizzy in the BBC miniseries of P&P were the two poets in love. Heh.

Harriet and Wickham. I know that they're more minor characters, but it's fun to think about it.

I've always thought that Ms. Thorpe and Mr. Wickham rather deserved each other, although he would be too poor for her.
