Sous le Voile de l'Enfer Description of Area: Obviously the left overs of a forest fire from years before... though the burn on the trees, and the endless cover of ash on the ground seems to never go away, and it probably never will, for as long as this family lives in this land. There is just less than an acre of burnt land, that belongs to Zeidan and his family. In the center of the destruction is a large open area, obviously meant to be the main den-site. There is a half-underground cave, seeming more like something a fox might live in, with plenty of room on the inside for at most 40 lions.. though it starts to get very uncomfortable around 30.
Though it seems like there would be no water in a dead forest, just barely 10 yards from the densite, is a fairly large pool of crystal clear water, that most likely flowed from the mountains in the distance, in an underground stream. The pond was about the size of a large human car, and about two thirds as deep.
Hunting usually revolved around either traveling all the way out into the grass-lands, or finding those lost gazelle and such amongst the forests.
When it rains, the ash becomes much like mud, so typically the lions hide away in the den or in one of the trees... Despite the trees being dead, they are still quite stable. Pride Members:

History
Prior to the pride, Zeidan had had no home.. He'd had no family, However, he wanted a Pride. He wanted to be King. Perhaps it was a slight Crave for Power that led him to create Hell's Shadows?
He found the land on a very lazy search one day,... entranced by the ash covered land, and the black, forever charred trees. This was his home, now.
Later on he brought a close friend... a Lioness by the name of Tierany, to his home, and offered her stay. Through the course her stay, Zeidan seemed to have let some affection grow for the lioness, though it shattered when she was taken away from his pride willingly.... by her mate.
For a long while Zeidan was both queen-less and very spiteful.... until he came across who... was greater than any he'd met.
Marked by what seemed almost like scars of fire... a burning black heart, and even elemental control over Fire.
Kelevra. His Queen, undoubtedly, forever. Together, they ruled Hell's Shadows, through multiple children, [Not always together, might I add,] and events of Members coming and going....
Finally a day came where they decided they needed a slight.. change. It seemed life was beginning to flow too much into the land.
Some members were forced to leave.
Others were raised in rank. Others left willingly because perhaps it was a family member removed.
Though the true members of the pride stayed. The name of the pride changed, to something slightly more Fancy and new.
The welcome to the pride is no longer "Welcome to Hell's Shadows,".. instead, "Welcome to the land, forever covered by Hell's Veil.... Welcome to Voile de l'enfer..."
