Just a little bit about me…
Severus Tobias Snape was born to Eileen Prince and Tobias Snape. In his younger years, Severus was abused by his alcoholic father many times. He also met Lily Evans and her sister Petunia Evans and became friends with the former. Petunia said he was a freak.
Upon receiving his acceptance letter to Hogwarts, he was excited for the chance to get away from his father, as well as for the fact that Lily would be going too. To his disappointment life at Hogwarts became only a little better than his life at home.
The first year he was sorted into Slytherin while Lily into Gryffindor. He quickly made enemies of some of his own house as well as enemies with the Marauders, a group of four boys that took to tormenting him in various ways, usually ways that embarrassed him.
Over the next four years Severus took to studying the Dark Arts, and hanging out with a group of Slytherins that would later become death eaters. Lily kept trying to stop Severus from hanging out with that group, but Severus didn’t listen.
At the end of the fifth year an event occurred that Severus would later remember as his “worst memory.” Out in the Courtyard Sirius Black and the other Marauders used a spell to levitate Severus into the air. Lily arrived and demanded they put him down. The Marauders responded by stopping the spell, letting Severus crash to the ground. He angrily said that he didn’t need help from a Mudblood, thus ruining Severus’s and Lily’s friendship. Severus and Lily have not been friends since.
