Sirius snuck out of the gathering hall hopefully unnoticed. "Where do you think they put the trunks when they're out of the train?" he asked James, who he had fallowed out.

Shrugging, James realized this minor set back, "I'm not entirely sure...should we check out on the walk way up to the castle? They might bring it up through there. Magic doesn't work unless they are within twenty five miles radius of the school."

"Ok then, let's go check it out." he said and began walking off. He didn't know if he should be trying to sneak about, since all the staff was in the gathering hall for dinner, but someone had to be on guard right? So he just took carefull steps.

Following behind him, James couldn't help but think of a Muggle picture that he'd been introduced to; James Bond. It was an incredible movie, and he couldn't help but think of what they were doing now as one of the scenes that could have been in the movie. "I wonder if the Games keeper will be down there..."

Sirius jumped a little at Jame's words. He had gone into his own little world, focusing on being quiet. "Maybe...Since he's not a teacher, they probably don't mind if he's late to the feast..." he said. He looked around, there wasn't really a reason to be sneaky, the halls where all light and a ghost could pop up any moment.

Scrunching up his face, James couldn't remember more than one time he had ever seen the Games Keeper at the feasts...what does he do all day? What does being a Games Keeper entail? What do you keep? Why are you keeping it, exactly? Nevermind...
"Let's just hurry, Sirius. I don't want to miss the whole feast and we still need to mesh out the hairy details for how to do this." James said with a sigh.

"Yes, Sir." he said in a mock tone. Sirius kept walking and they soon reached the main enterance. "Do you see the cases?" he asked James.
"What if the game keeper all ready brought them upstairs..." he thought.

Craning his neck, James spotted what seemed to be most of the student's things around the bend of the castle. "Finally." James muttered, irritated that he had not already found these things. "Now...how to find mine...Why was I in charge of prank materials this time?" He asked, turning to Sirius.

"Because you have such a skill with it." He said, hoping flattering James would make him forget that he was annoyed. "But that is not important, what is important is that we find your trunk...Now...Doesn't it say Potter on the side or something?" he asked looking over a trunk.

(Alright, a couple things lost me in that post.
1. Sirius is living with James at this point. We decided that ourselves on the train, I think.
2. They are in 6th year, so the owl saying he was in Gryffindor came years and years ago...
Just wanted to make sure you knew what year we are doing this in. ^^ I'm not trying to be rude.)

Frowning after going over a trunk that was obviously not his, James replied with, "Nah, it only has the family crest on it, I think on the left side of the trunk." Groaning, James pushed another one out of his way after discovering it was not his. "This could take a while..." James growled.

Sirius sighed. "Not this one..." he mumbled pushing it to the side. He looked at the next one. "No crest here either..." he sighed. When he saw the next trunk he laughed. "Looks like this is a Slytherin trunk." he said, kicking it aside.

Snickering, James pulled his wand out of his pocket and slowly ran the tip of his wand around the edge of the trunk where the lid met the base. During this time, James was muttering a heating charm. He was sautering the trunk closed. "They'll have fun getting that on open. To bad we can't be there to watch his reaction. I swear that some times that is the rewarding part of pranking: being able to see their reaction.
