If you're a hardcore gamer (and even if you're not), you've come to the right place! Here is where you can discuss your favorite games, not so favorite games, and the pros and cons of going to that gaming convention the weekend before your big exam (I'm just kidding on that part, but if that's what you wanna discuss, go ahead).
One last thing: Dirge of Cerberus was a disappointment. Majorly.

I hate to say it but i kinda hate WOW, ever since it came, 2 of my friends have dedicated their lives to it. One of them eventually failed out of school and the other has 2 lvl 70s!!!!
Rant Alert! I was a little on edge tonight and accidently posted a large reply. To some it may feel like a rant. This is why I don't like WOW so if you don't wanna hear it, don't read. Thank you. Thats not the only reason though. The main reason is that although, I played on a Private Server, I realized a couple of things....
1.) (This was already known though) I can't play games for very long periods time without getting bored or wanna do something different. This is made even more prevelant due to the grinding.
2.) I'm sorry but I feel that the ones who pay for it are ripped off. You pay $15 a month for one game... thats $180 a year for that ONE game, kinda outrageous. I mean, xbox live, Though I hate to pay for it, costs an average of $7 a month, almost half price and you get to play ANY game on it.
3.) I can't and will never understand why people keep playing after they hit 70. Its cool to play every so often but not as much as you do to get to it i.e. my friend.
Sorry about my spelling, I am used to chats right now and I type faster than I think. sweatdrop

I would rather pay for WoW anytime over Xbox live...atleast for WoW you dont consistantly have to go out and buy 60$(canadian price dont know american price) and you have to buy the xboxs its self to play the games, controllers ect. where for WoW you only need a computer, you only need to buy one game, and it may be 15$ a month but its alot cheaper to pay for that in general then it is to get everything for xbox live. Also once you hit 70 for anyone who doesnt see the point in it is do doing end game things like killing world bosses that you have to be lvl 70 to do, and you can do pvp killin other players or RP as your character and add alot to the length of the game...im not trying to sounds mean here i just hear alot of people call me a nerb and stuff like that at school because i play wow when they cant seem to understand that they end up paying more for xboxs games then they do for wow

I only recently started playing WOW, but I have to say I do enjoy it. The only problem is, I also see the other side of it. I know one guy who dropped out of school and now all he does is play it all day. I know a few other people who are absolutely obsessed.
I guess I'd have to say that it's good in moderation.

I see your point. Wow is useful for people who only want one game and have a consistent income. I though wow was ok myself but I still despise the price. I can play it using my friends account but don't find myself wanting to. I guess I prefer a variety of different games, from RPGs to Shooters to music, like Rock Band. I could never find myselfplaying the same game for long periods at a time.
Plus my income is varying so I rarely can afford something like wow myself. Even then, however, I would not be able to play it enough to constitute the pay.

Also a very good point. If I had the money to pay for wow, I would buy something else (like a book), and I don't want to get addicted. I love my dad's PS3, and play a variety of games on that when I'm at his place.
Fallout 3!
