I used to play violin years and years ago.
I quit because my teacher was a c**k.

I really wish I had kept it up. I'd be semi-good by now.

My sister used to play violin. She actually owns a violin. She won't let me touch it. She has probably forgotten that it exists.

Emilie Autumn makes me want to re-learn. ^^;

Now, my sister is out right now. I just messed with her violin. I know how to play it, or, rather, my right hand knows how to play it. My left hand doesn't know what to do to get the right notes.

Plus, I can't read music to save my life.

I want an electric fretted violin, and then I'd stick some distortion though it. heart

Too bad they cost a lot.

lol, the steampunk instrument.

I admire anyone who can play those, even if its just basic skill. I tried, it was epic fail.

There is so much you can do with the electric one, i would think the would be worth it, no matter the cost(for the people who can play). I have seen usb hub ones which you can record directly on the computer then go through and alter the sounds to what ever you want them to be.

Actually, to get an electric violin isn't too bad, if you are not particular.
You can pick one up on ebay for under 100 bucks. You just cant be too picky about color, or make, because there is usually always a limited amount listed.
