Let's all talk about any games that's relating with FFVII. Because remember... the more games there are... the more Zeris interaction there will be.
People from Square Enix are teasing us with that trailer they showed about a year ago. They showed Cloud having an entrance the same way Zack did. And Aerith was right there!! Ughh SQUARE-ENIX!! I love and hate you at the same time!!
So if anyone knows about current events of the remake of FFVII, don't hesitate not telling us about it!!
It would be greatly appreciated!!!

That's actually the way the game (FFVII) starts. Lots of things that Zack does in Crisis Core mirror what Cloud did in FFVII, and it's to emphasize the connection between these two (not sure if you are worried about spoilers since you haven't played FFVII, but they are kind of all over the guild). I took out that big picture you had because it wasn't necessary, but if you want to post it in 'The Park', go right ahead. As I told you though, the only news about a remake is that they are considering it, but the people they would need involved are currently busy with other projects. They have said the compilation will last at least until the 20th Anniversary of FFVII, so there's still lots of time for a remake. It just won't be in the next few years. But hey, if people in the guild want to discuss the remake, what features it might have, ect. then this board has a purpose. XD

YAY !Discussion Time! So, the remake will take some time and that is even if they have started on it already. I figure it will take 3 years if they have already started and 5 years if they haven't... that is assuming they are doing it. Balthea, have you seen any official statements from Square as to a remake?

@Hiro: I know Squeenix is just teasing us. I really think that they should remake old games so that people who haven`t played it when it first came out have a chance to experience it as well. Imagine in the future and some kid youtube`s Final Fantasy VII since there was already "Final Fantasy XXVII" [lolz] and finds out there are games like this out there??
**sighs** I really hope they go through with the remake!!

Do you guys know anything about Final Fantasy VII: Endless Crisis supposedly coming out in 2010? Or is that the remake itself?? I`m really confused!! But I guess that wait isn`t that long!! And I think Zack is still alive in that one.
Idk why I`m stressing... I guess I`m just one of those addicts, lolz.

It could just be me but I have a feeling that won't remake it. I think they want to keep it "a classic." Since they already made the movie and we got a taste of FFVII in good graphics. But hey who knows?

The remake of FFVII is not even considered as of now since Square is so busy with FFXIII and Kingdom Hearts III. Nomura himself says that if they do consider it, then he would love to be a part of it. So right now, it's just a dream that's dangling on a hook for us.
Endless Crisis? Umm...I don't think there is such a thing. It's probably a hoax. I remember someone tampering with some magazine with photoshop and posted it saying "remake of FFVII battle!" It had Cloud fighting Shadow Creepers...in his AC costume. rolleyes But *coughs* yeah, don't get sucked into the abundant lies out there. If there was something called "Endless Crisis", places like adventchildren.net would've caught it and posted it up in their news.

Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, DofC. XP
As Twin said, the official word is some of the original creators would be interested in a remake, but there's no time right now to even think about that. Plus, with Crisis Core being a really new game, I doubt we'll see anything new for FFVII for a while. Don't want to spoil us.

@Twindream: I really did fall for that damned Endless Crisis!! I figured a *little* because their trailers were the same ones used in AC and CC. I wanted to make 100% sure if I had to believe it or not. Thankiez.
@Vanilla: The movie meaning, AC right?
Yeah, I guess that`s how it`ll be. We`ll just have to wait on it because I`m getting fidgety about Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. I guess, that`ll take my mind off of it for now so I don`t think about the games and what-not. I`m just sad I didn`t get FFVII when I had the chance. I was one of the lucky poor kids that got a PS when it just came out.

This was before AC when they only had screenshots and Aeris' face wasn't shown yet. It ended up being Yuna's face photoshopped. xd

I know what you mean! Doesn't it feel awful to have a game that no longer works? It just leaves you feeling so empty inside! I remember that my dear Soul Blade stopped working....*sighs* Sad, sad day...but I bought it again luckily. xd

@Twindream: You are awfully lucky!! Well when the game came out I was in some deep time moving in the Philippines. My parents just sent me a PS as a birthday gift which included a game, which was "A Bug`s life". xD At that time I wasn`t in America yet and I couldn`t get a hold of a Final Fantasy game. On top of that, I`ve never heard of any kind of FF until I came to America which was seven years ago.
@Hiro: I feel your pain, love. I just wish I knew about it sooner. I gave away my PS to other kids who didn`t have the fun of playing it when I left the Philippines. I did that because I felt bad and I thought the PS2 games and system was so much better. Originals are originals I guess...
So ten more years to wait...
