Hi guys. We just ended our guard try-outs for the upcoming marching season and we went from 9 girls to have 16!! I was just wondering if anyone else had guard try-outs around this time and if you all had any intersting stories. xp

We're having try outs tomorrow! I can't wait! This is going to be my 3rd year. Our guard instructor ,Victor, is taking 40 people this year so it'll be intresting. We're also going to BOA this year but we're going to have alot of rookies so I'm not sure how we'll do

We just ended try-outs on Friday we had 8 girls last season, and ended up with 7 this year. So depressing =[ oh well, and only 3 are returners lol

We just had tryouts too. I ams o excited we have three new people so I think we have 18 people again. I am so sad to see the seniors go! We have a parade at the end of the month with them though. Even the new people are good this year, so it should be a good one!

Wow, groups are already having tryouts... I don't even know when ours are, but I do know they're soon. We are going to our feeder MS to recruit tuesday, though I dunno how good it'll be, Wehaven't had a practice since championships and we are going to perform our wintershow, not to mention one of our members is going to be in Italy...

Oh...I have an update. We don't have 16 girls in the guard we have 17!!! We had a percussion girl switch to colorguard (she was in both at her old school). So now we have an even larger guard! I just can't wait till band camp when we all get to get together and see how the new girls do and if the vets are better than last year. rofl

We had ours not that long ago.
We have 7 veterans, and 22 new members.
It should be a trip. Lol
Idk what our instructor was thinking when she picked some of them.
Oh well, we will see how things go for next year!
I'm excited! We start summer rehearsal in two weeks.

we lost seven seniors but i think we're gonna have about 10 rookies. I think that'll give us about 20 peeps.
and our instructors want to train everyone on weapons this year. that should be interesting...

It shouldn't be too bad, hopefully your people will catch on quick like people in my group did, well, except me of course....
