Here we go! Izumi has just found Japanese Candlestick Charting... it gives a LOT more information on market sales trends than any other graphing technique.. so, this got Izumi thinking to use Gaia market as practice.. and post here general hints and tips for buying and selling at better times to get the most of your gold!
Izumi is still trying to gather proper information on market sales/price history, so this will take a couple of months as Izumi requires not just averages, but opening and closing prices/sales numbers as well as the month's/week's high and low... And Izumi cannot find this information for past months/weeks.. so Izumi will take this information as it comes and keep you all updated heart

Forgot to say earlier..
I will only post here the basic market trends and predictions
if you would like for Izumi to keep track of a specific item/set of items just pm me and Izumi will do that for you for a small fee heart
in any case, just from the information gathered for last month's market info, we have a bullish candlestick... Bullish means the prices and activity are going up, Bearish means the prices and activity are going down
So Izumi suggests buying during bearish times and selling during bullish times (just as a general rule)........ Izumi has yet to gather much information so PLEASE do not take this as a sign that you should sell yet! Let us be patient and wait for more information..

Izumi will update the first of every month unless you wish for weekly reports (that's only for specific items though as Izumi cannot get accurate information for weekly marketplace reports)
which reminds me, if one wishes for monthly or weekly reports on a specific item pm Izumi and let her know .... Izumi will send the monthly reports for 20G per month per item (10+ items is 10G per month per item) or 50G per month per item for weekly reports (10+ items is 40G per month per item)

UPDATE TIME!!! 4laugh
we have a Hamari forming in the graphs now.. that means that the current market trend is about to change! So far we have been having a bullish trend so it should change now to either a Bearish or neutral trend.
Hamari means 'pregnant' and as the name suggests, it looks as if last month's candlestick is pregnant (this months candlestick being the baby).. Izumi says 'this moth' referring to the month that has just ended..
Bearish means prices are going down
Bullish means prices are going up
Neutral is just that; neutral
Izumi will be back with more market info next month!

Izumi is swamped with projects she needs to finish before this evening (lot of curtains and such to sew for house Mommy is trying to turn into a Bed and Breakfast - as well as a lot of painting, wallpapering, decorating, &c.) and Izumi does not have time at the moment to search for her flash-drive that has charts on it.. well, as was said before there was a Hamari, and the market has now shown a bearish sign... What this means: Prices are going down.
ano... not much else to say about it... soooo.... Izumi will be back next month with more market info.. 'Till then!

Sorry, Izumi has finally gone back home (we are turning our old house in Houston into a Bed and Breakfast) and forgot her flash-drive in Houston.. crying It has all of izumi's charts on it! *hits self in head repeatedly* Baka Baka BAKA BAKA!!!!! (baka= idiot, moron, stupid, &c.)
Mommy said that we were going to be here about two weeks, but we also forgot Izumi's medicine there.. so we may go back sooner.... Sumimasen! (I'm so terribly sorry!) Izumi will get the information up as soon as she gets her flash-drive back!

Sorry For the delay.. ano, not much to report.. the market has shown signs of becoming bullish.. so that means prices are going up (time to sell)

gonk Izumi is late with this yet again! Izumi is SO SORRY!!! m-_-m
Izumi will be unable to give the update for a few more days, we had to evacuate from house in Houston because of hurricane Gustav... and Izumi has no idea where her flash-drive is.. it is in one of these bags of stuff *looks at parlor filled with large trash bags filled with stuff* confused this may take a while...

any ways, it look like the market has gone into a bearish turn.. meaning prices are dropping (in general) and now is the time to buy... but it has yet to show any major signs as to if it is going to continue this bearish trend or go into a reversal.. so... yea.. sweatdrop

wow.. Izumi is actually on time with the update!
eek there was a BIG drop in sales on the 26th.. it went below 500 million... it's usually between 100 - 150 million... We are seeing another Hamari.. so there should be a change in the market soon (either to neutral or bullish) so buy now while prices are still a bit low, then be prepared to sell at higher prices.. and that's it for today! Izumi is going to go back to her ice cream now... Mmmmm... chocolate..... *drools*

Not Quite a Hamari, but Izumi thinks it's close enough, so we should see a reversal soon (to either neutral or bullish) So ... prices not as high as last month, but not as low as the start of January. No suggestions on to buy or sell, unfortunately... We'll see by next month perhaps sweatdrop
