Uhm Hello! *waves* I'm Rena and I really like anime/manga XD and Banana Ice cream smoothies, kitties, sleeping, reading, writing, drawing, and procrastination heart . Oh and Gaia, I like Gaia lots.

I was wondering what your favorite anime or mangas were. (Yeah I saw this disscussion going on in the sticky, but for some reason I felt akward posting there sweatdrop ) I tend to favor the comedy gene above all else, my favorite Manga reads right now are....

Kitchen Princess, Skip Beat, Ouran High School Host Club, and Gatcha Gacha (Please do not confuse this with Gacha Gacha I meant what I said)

I have read so many more manga is see absolutely no point in making a list, however for the more popular anime/manga....
Death Note- I read the first book but did not continue because it is rated 16+ and I don't turn 16 till the end of May
Bleach- I started to watch it then my friend who obsesses over it told me it was "Her anime" so I quit. rolleyes Whatever
Naruto- Watch it like it. Stuck in the filler arcs. gonk
Pokemon- POKEMON ALL THE WAY MAN! ^^~ jk I haven't watched that since they changed the voices.

Yay! for Ouran High School Host Club! I mostly read shojo manga (on accident, it just sort of happens), but I really like Death Note. There's not even anything that bad besides Raito killing a bunch of people... which, ya know, is kinda the point. It's really good up to volume 7, so I recommend it.

Nana is also great, along with Vampire Knight, The Gentleman's Alliance Cross, and D.Gray-man. Paradise Kiss was short but fabulous. Naruto is kinda way better as a manga (but that's just my opinion).

As far as yaoi goes, I have high hopes for Il gatto sul G and Little Butterfly.

I've been thinking about starting Skip Beat, Rena, you recommend it?

Oh I've also read The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross <3 absolutely lovely. Arina Tanemura is one of my absolute favorite manga-kas. After Fullmoon wo Sagishite I absolutely fell in love with her work. I usually like to try and follow age ratings but I broke my own rule to read The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross, I don't regret it for a moment.

I've never read Naruto as a manga so I really can't compare the two.

I'm not really into yaoi or yuri that much. I don't freak out or anything when I see a picture with those pairings though. Most of my friends are either homo-phobs or obsessed with it rolleyes I feel like that indifferent lump in the middle.

Skip Beat is an amazing series whee . I first started it and in the first chapter thought it was going to be a bit predictable. You know the whole boyfriend dumps the girl who gave away her life for him. She gets pissed and says she'll get her revenge by beating him in showbiz. *snore*

As the series continued I began to call Kyoko anything but 'predictable'. Her idea of how to get into showbiz is to just simply enter the building and demand to see one of the 'bigwigs'. When they throw her out of the building she proceeds to stalk and threaten the talento section supervisior with her evil spitits of revenge until he finally allows her to audition.

The character depvelopment is amazing and I love the plotline. Romance is spread out over the series (Actually romance doesn't even start to come into play untill about book 3 or 4) and personally I don't like series where couples get together right away. I find it boring and anticlimatic, usually. The one thing I was a little dissapointed in was the drawings of the males cry To my personal taste, the style in which this author draws males isn't really that cute, which makes me sad. So not much of oogling the male lead lol. However his personality seems to grow on you a little bit so he is still a likeable character.

Dear God xd I wrote a story! Sorry I got carried away.... to sum that up for the lazy people READ IT! However I wouldn't buy the series untill you know you really love it. There are probably going to be at least 20+ books. (Book 12 actually came out two days ago I haven't been to the store to get it yet whee )

Hello Roxy. I'm really not that hyper I missed a whole week of school and at that point I was being faced with a weeks worth of homework. My brain was going crazy. I don't usually type so much either, but as I have never talked to any of you before there's a lot to say. My posts should shrink in size over time.

I read Kingdom hearts, but before I go to Chain of Memories I am determined to beat the first Kingdom hearts game. {I stink so badly at games its not funny. Except Smash Bros 3nodding I can beat most everyone I know}

I LOVE Tsubasa. I have the giant white and black Mokona plushies sitting on my bed staring at me right now. They are so cute >
The other mangas you mentioned I haven't read, though I have heard of most of them here and there. Would you tell me more about D. Gray-man and Air Gear?

Nope ^^ It's about a girl named Yaya who has multiple personality disorder. She's really shy and withdrawn and when she snaps her second personality Nana comes out and... beats the tar outta people O_o and then Yaya comes back and is like... confused....

You can find it online its a little strange at first, but I ended up really liking it.
